Responsibilities:

• Research and build new features for the Zoom Apps SDK;
• Write code, fix bugs and issues, research and implement new technologies, and collaborate with the team to ensure that the SDK meets the needs of both end-users and developer partners;
• Optimize the performance and scalability of the platform;
• Work on algorithms, data structures, and system architecture to ensure that the platform can handle increasing loads and provide a seamless user experience;
• Ensure the security and compliance of the platform will become increasingly important;
• Implement security best practices, work with security teams to identify and mitigate risks, and ensure that the platform complies with relevant regulations and standards;
• Work closely with developer partners to help them solve complex problems related to the Zoom Apps SDK;
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting issues, and answering questions about the SDK;
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers;
• Collaborate on new features, discuss technical issues, and provide updates on progress and timelines;
• Develop the Built by Zoom Apps feature;
• Research and build new features on both the backend and frontend by writing code, fixing bugs and issues, and demonstrating Zoom's platform capabilities through apps;
• Code complex algorithms using Javascript and Node.js;
• Work with large data sets and implement algorithms that are optimized for performance;
• Research and build infrastructure for Apps and SDK CDN in the Cloud;
• Work with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform;
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies, frameworks, and best practices; and
• Attend conferences, participate in online communities, and engage in continuous learning and development opportunities.

What we're looking for:

• Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, a related field, or a foreign equivalent;
• Must have 18 months of experience in job offered or related occupation;
• Must have 18 months of experience in Javascript & Node.js;
• Must have 18 months of experience in Frontend technologies like React/Angular/Vue;
• Must have 18 months of experience in MVC backend technologies like Express/Node.js, Ruby on Rails, Django/Python; and
• Must have 18 months of experience in Web APIs, OAuth APIs, REST APIs.
• Telecommuting work arrangement permitted: position may work in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

$172,931.00

Maximum:

$172,931.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations.
