The Role
Wpromote is seeking a Senior SEO Manager dedicated exclusively to a major U.S. travel brand. This isn’t a typical SEO role — it’s an opportunity to shape how a leading travel company competes in a transforming search landscape. You’ll be a key player focused on organic discoverability, cross-channel collaboration, and measurable revenue impact. This role will act as the SEO lead within an embedded, cross-functional Earned & Owned team, working onsite up to 4x a week at the client’s office in Dallas, TX. You will be an individual contributor and report to a Director of SEO. You will be at the center of a cross-functional Earned & Owned team driving the next generation of organic growth while future-proofing the brand’s visibility for the AI Search era. You’ll collaborate daily with SEO, Content Marketing, Analytics, Paid Media and Strategy teams to ensure all initiatives ladder up to measurable business outcomes and the client’s larger mission of becoming an industry leader in organic discoverability.

The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $78,000- $95,000, based on consideration of a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. At Wpromote, pay ranges are subject to change and are based on specific market medians for similar jobs according to third-party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary due to skills, experience, and available budget. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above).
*This role is restricted to candidates who currently reside in Dallas, Texas area due to client requirements.

You Will Be

  • Leading the Technical SEO strategy development, planning, and execution.
  • Using data-driven insights to prioritize high-impact technical and content optimizations.
  • Partnering with Analytics and Content leads to forecast, test, and validate performance improvements.
  • Developing an organic App Store Optimization strategy and ongoing testing matrix
  • Working hand-in-hand with client development resources to prioritize SEO recommendations and assist with sprint planning.
  • Creating reports to gauge progress and communicate the measurable value of SEO initiatives.
  • Developing and executing strategies for implementation QA, including both staging and production environments.
  • Serving as a primary SEO lead ensuring alignment with the client’s internal Digital and Loyalty teams.
  • Translating complex SEO insights into clear, business-driven recommendations for executives and stakeholders.
  • Influencing long-term digital strategy through proactive communication, reporting, and performance storytelling.
  • Partnering with Content Marketing, CRO, Digital Experience, and Media teams to create holistic search plans
  • Supporting technical SEO initiatives, including site architecture, schema, internal linking, and indexation health.
  • Collaborating with Paid Media channels for strategic alignment and tactical co-activations.
  • Working with development partners to implement changes, monitor results, and address site-level blockers.
  • Developing and operationalizing strategies to improve the travel client’s AI search visibility.
  • Identifying and optimizing pages that influence AI Overviews, voice search, and next-generation SERP features.
  • Collaborating with the Center of Excellence (CoE) to document scalable frameworks for future AI readiness.
  • Contributing to the Center of Excellence by developing playbooks, documentation, and cross-channel learnings.
  • Championing collaboration, accountability, and innovation across all aspects of SEO delivery.
  • Staying informed on the SEO industry through continuous learning, competitive research, and proactive POV sharing on emerging trends in AI search and search engine evolution.

You Must Have

  • 6+ years of experience in SEO experience (travel, loyalty or lifestyle experience preferred)
  • 1–2 years agency experience in a client-facing role
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale technical and content SEO programsExperience with Screaming Frog, SEMRush or equivalent toolsStrong understanding of AI Search, schema markup, and SERP feature optimization
  • Deep familiarity with enterprise analytics platforms (GA4, GSC, Looker, or equivalent)
  • Experience collaborating with content, UX, and development teams to execute complex projects
  • Proven track record of developing SEO strategies that drive revenue growth and measurable ROI
  • Exceptional communication skills — able to distill data and technical findings for executive audiences
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and strong organizational skills
  • Proven project management and multitasking skills with the ability to meet and exceed deadlines
