Title: Associate Strategy Manager

Job Description

As an Associate Supply Chain Strategy Manager, you will be responsible for leading, building and leveraging relationships with assigned customers within the Grocery Division. You will be responsible for managing customer focused initiatives from identification to implementation and will have plenty of opportunity to present out your results both internally and externally. The ideal candidate is curious, a natural dot connector and constantly looking for opportunities to unlock revenue generation, cost savings, and efficiencies.

The Associate Strategy Manager is a customer facing role that will be partnering with internal customer development, various functions within supply chain and external customer collaboration engagements.

Role Responsibilities

  • Bravely challenge the status quo of the business, gain customer intimacy, and positively work with stakeholders to implement change.

  • Forge positive relationships with Sales and Supply Chain Planning. Create a reputation for excellence, customer obsession and purposeful passion.

  • Lead continuous improvement projects and strategic collaborative customer initiative across the integrated supply chains to improve Unilever performance as measured by the customer, drive revenue generation, forecast improvement and cost savings.

  • Lean into digital and use report and role automation techniques to unlock human potential and drive improved execution for Unilever.

  • Coach, mentor and develop the talent within our team.

  • You’re a strategy guru: You can conduct thorough analysis of a customers’ supply chain and/or initiatives using process mapping and other techniques. After completing analysis, you should be able to strategize and recommend actions required to implement improvements internally and externally.

  • You’re a dot connector: You can see the “big picture” in analyzing and/or solving complex and sometimes focused issues so that modifications could allow Unilever to leverage initiatives with other customers.

  • You’re a changemaker: You have mastered working with white space and can identify new techniques and data to gain new customer or channel insights. Overcoming the reluctance of the customer in sharing pertinent data for improvements

  • You’re a paradox navigator: Evaluating trade-off between time, cost and service to satisfy both Unilever and its customers. You should be an expert of your Customer and navigate continual change via customer initiatives that could counterbalance Unilever SC directives.

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong leadership skills, communication and collaboration abilities

  • Comfortable with finding insights from data and making them meaningful to all levels of employees

  • Able to influence and lead a project effectively

  • Experience with Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, SAS or any other ETL/data visualization process is a plus

Requirements

  • 3+ years of supply chain experience: operations, S&OP, modelling, planning, replenishment, etc.

  • Excel Knowledge

  • Undergraduate Degree

Pay: The pay range for this position is $83,200 to $124,700. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
