Deputy Technical Manager – (M/F/NB)

🚩 What will your day-to-day life be like?

Within the Group's Real Estate Engineering Department, the on-site Technical Management team ensures the maintenance and technical operation of the Shopping Center, as well as the safety of property and people. They plan and monitor major maintenance work and manage service providers, develop, monitor, and control annual and multi-year budgets (5-year plans), and reporting. Based at the Shopping Center, the Deputy Technical Manager assists the Technical Manager in all his/her missions.

In this context, your main missions are as follows:

  • You supervise the technical co-ownership staff, coordinate the cleaning, security, and maintenance teams. You are responsible for organizing and monitoring the proper execution of services.
  • You manage the preparation and monitoring of the operating budget and the 5-year work plan.
  • You monitor landlord restructurings (processing of development files, operational monitoring of works).
  • You ensure compliance with the phasing and quality of works monitored by the internal MOD.
  • You assist the Center Director in preparing General Meetings.
  • You participate in tenders and the selection of service providers in connection with the Synergy Expertise Department (quality, risk management, benchmarking...).
  • You monitor health, regulatory, etc. risks.
  • You follow up and control management of tenant works (ECOPs)

Position to be filled at one of our Shopping Centers in Barcelona.

🚩 How to succeed in this position (soft skills + hard skills)?

Must Have:

  • You have a higher education in engineering or technical fields and have at least 2 years of experience in technical management/operations/works acquired within a property company, a manager or trustee, a Facility Management company, a shopping center, or a mall.
  • Rigorous and proactive, you have strong anticipation skills, attention to detail, and possess excellent interpersonal and managerial qualities.
  • You are proficient in computer tools such as Excel and PowerPoint and are comfortable with reporting tools.
  • You are curious and know how to propose innovative and creative action plans.
  • You are constantly a source of proposals and conviction to your internal and external interlocutors.
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills and real negotiation abilities.
  • You are mobile and have a driving license.
