\nAbout this role
\nWe are hiring a Principal Product Management to develop and execute a product strategy and roadmap for our messaging platform. This is an opportunity to work closely with the product, marketing, and engineering managers across all Udemy messaging channels to create experiences, platforms and methods to deliver best in class customer experiences that drive key business outcomes for Udemy.
\nAs a Principal Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining our product strategy across a portfolio of messaging channels, such as onsite notifications, email, mobile push, and web push. Our ideal candidate will have already led teams to build successful Enterprise SaaS products – both mobile and web - in agile software development environments. You will guide new product development through all stages of the product life cycle, from identification of customer needs and product definition through development, launch, and sustainment. This is a highly cross-functional role and will work closely with engineering, marketing, sales, customer success, professional services, and business operations teams.
\nWhat you'll be doing:

- Define the messaging and notifications product strategy and roadmap for internal as well as 3rd party integrations. \n
- Facilitate decision-making across cross-functional teams to deliver products that drive aggressive customer and business growth. \n
- Execute efforts across products/teams from ideation through launch, and continuing through ongoing maintenance and support. \n
- Manage remote engineering in Turkey and cross-functional teams in various time zones (mostly Pacific but also timezones in the US, Ireland, and India) \n
- Deliver insightful product recommendations to business leaders and the executive team in a persuasive and thoughtful manner. \n
- Implement best-in-class product management processes to increase team velocity, quality, and accountability. \n
- Monitor market conditions and the competitive landscape in the rapidly changing retail and logistics spaces, and identify key issues impacting our product pipeline. \n
What you’ll have
\n- \n
- 7+ years product management experience delivering enterprise SaaS Product led Growth products. \n
- Substantial experience working in B2B marketing products - emails, mobile push, SMS, web push, etc. \n
- Shipped creative and highly successful self-serve products in B2B or consumer tech. \n
- Leadership - proven ability to set a vision, excite and lead a cross-functional engineering team. \n
- Ability to articulate a vision and strategy in a way that inspires and motivates team and focuses their energy on achieving business goals \n
- Skilled in providing analysis and estimation of the strategic and financial value of new products and features \n

About this role
