Manager, P2P Partner Engagement & Programs - Americas
Uber
This is a hybrid role and you must be located in, or willing to relocate to San Francisco for the position.
About the Role
Our Finance Operations team is looking to add a hands-on, detail-oriented leader to join our newly established Procure-To-Pay Partner Engagement & Program (PEP) team as the Regional Manager for the Americas, based in San Francisco.
The Manager of Partner Engagement & Programs (PEP) for the Americas will serve as the strategic connector between the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) organization and its global business partners. As a leader within the newly formed PEP team, you will act as the primary strategic engine for the region, ensuring that every business change—from new product launches to global mergers—is successfully evaluated, supported, and implemented.
You will lead a team of Senior Analysts to drive ecosystem adoption, maximize partner value, and act as the "Voice of the Business" and “Voice of the Partner” back to our Global Process Owners (GPO), Global Buying Center (GBC), and Center of Excellence (COE). This is a high-visibility role requiring a blend of operational expertise, exceptional stakeholder influencing skills, and the ability to navigate complex, unstructured business challenges.
What You’ll Do
Regional Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and mentor a regional team of Senior Analysts, establishing clear "swim lanes" to ensure the team focuses on proactive advisory rather than tactical execution.
- Drive the regional execution of global PEP programs, ensuring alignment with the Senior Manager on KPIs, scorecards, and strategic priorities.
Experience Management (CSAT & Supplier NPS)
- Re-establish and own the Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) program for the region to measure internal business partner sentiment.
- Establish a Supplier Net Promoter Score (NPS) baseline and develop action plans to improve the end-to-end supplier experience.
- Host regular Stakeholder Councils and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with senior Finance and Business leaders to share sentiment data and influence the P2P roadmap.
Ecosystem Adoption & Value Creation
- Lead regional Change Management roadshows and manage "Change Champion" networks to drive 100% adoption of the Nexus platform and other P2P self-service tools.
- Partner with Global Process Owners to identify and execute recruitment campaigns for Working Capital and Early Pay programs, contributing directly to company cash flow goals.
- Reduce "maverick spend" by influencing stakeholders toward preferred supplier usage and compliant buying behaviors.
- Act as a strategic scout for the business, translating emerging partner needs into actionable service enhancements and high-impact integration projects for P2P’s functional workstreams.
Strategic Business Partnership
- Serve as the Primary Point of Contact for Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and the Business Engagement Review Board (BERB) for all P2P-related initiatives.
- Act as the strategic bridge for newly acquired entities, ensuring 100% operational readiness, supplier continuity, and spend risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with GPO, GBC, and COE stakeholders to define implementation requirements and integration roadmaps for new business initiatives.
- Orchestrate strategic supplier engagements to optimize payment terms and drive adoption of self-service ecosystems; leverage advanced data analytics to identify friction points and influence supplier behavior toward high-value P2P programs.
Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Identify process friction points through partner feedback and collaborate with the COE and GPO teams to implement innovative solutions.
- Ensure all regional partners are enabled and trained on P2P policies, risk controls, and compliance requirements.
Basic Qualifications
