About the Role

Uber’s mission is to be the place where people come to Go Anywhere — and in 2026, one of our most important growth opportunities is enabling older adults to move safely, confidently, and independently.

As a Product Operations Manager (L5) supporting the Seniors / Older Adults vertical, you will help build and scale products that serve a rapidly growing, underpenetrated audience with clear unmet needs. This role sits at the center of vertical product strategy, segmentation, and go-to-market execution, ensuring that experiences designed for seniors are trusted, accessible, operationally feasible, and globally scalable.

You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Operations, Legal, Policy, and Support to turn strategy into real-world impact — owning how senior-focused products are operationalized from early concept through global rollout and iteration.

What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points

---- What the Candidate Will Do ----

  1. Own end-to-end Product Operations programs for senior-focused mobility initiatives, from opportunity identification through rollout, iteration, and scale.
  2. Partner with Product to help define and operationalize a clear vertical strategy for older adults, including segmentation, use cases, and success metrics.
  3. Define go-to-market plans, operating models, and engagement structures that enable senior-focused products to launch safely and scale globally.
  4. Advise product teams on the global feasibility of senior and assisted-mobility experiences, incorporating regional constraints, regulatory requirements, and operational realities.
  5. Lead cross-functional alignment across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Legal, Policy, Support, and Operations to ensure products meet high bars for trust, safety, accessibility, and reliability.
  6. Develop and project-manage end-to-end rollout plans for senior-oriented features, ensuring launch readiness across markets and partners.
  7. Track and interpret core product and business metrics for the seniors vertical, identifying performance gaps, adoption barriers, and growth opportunities.
  8. Identify key post-launch problem areas or geographies and surface actionable insights to inform product improvements and roadmap decisions.
  9. Act as a voice of operations and the end user, advocating for experiences that are intuitive, dignified, and supportive for older adults and their caregivers.
  10. Continuously improve how Uber supports verticalized products, helping evolve Product Ops playbooks for segmentation-led growth.

---- Basic Qualifications ----

  1. Bachelor’s degree with a strong record of academic achievement.
  2. 6+ years of experience in product operations, operations, strategy & operations, business consulting, or a similarly analytical role.
  3. Demonstrated experience owning complex, cross-functional initiatives, ideally within a defined product vertical or customer segment.
  4. Strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate success metrics and user outcomes.
  5. Experience supporting large-scale, global or multi-region product rollouts.
  6. Proven ability to define and operate product operating models, including principles, guardrails, and scalable processes.
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence across functions and seniority levels.
  8. Strong intuition for user experience, especially for audiences with distinct accessibility, trust, or safety needs.

---- Preferred Qualifications ----

  1. Experience working on verticalized or segmented products (e.g., seniors, healthcare, families, accessibility, trust & safety).
  2. Familiarity with products serving older adults, caregivers, or assisted services.
  3. Strong business acumen, including the ability to articulate how product decisions impact adoption, retention, and long-term growth.
  4. Comfort balancing empathy-driven design with operational rigor and scalability.
  5. SQL proficiency or equivalent experience.
  6. Master’s or MBA preferred but not required.
