About the Role
Uber for Business is looking for a sharp, results-oriented Account Manager to join our Automotive team. In this role, you’ll lead revenue-generating and retention initiatives across our most strategic automotive customers while managing the day to day relationship of these accounts. Uncover new ways to increase revenue through expansion, present quarterly business reviews, gather customer and product feedback, and drive product adoption.
Account Managers work closely with internal partners and cross-functional teams to strategize and create compelling solutions that help customers achieve their business goals. You’ll leverage your deep understanding of how automotive dealerships operate and the priorities that drive decisions in order to uncover business initiatives and challenges to map back to our solutions.

- Grow and retain a book of business through account expansion, upselling and cross-selling, and building strong relationships while exceeding revenue goals
- Identify and build a pipeline of growth opportunities within your book of business that drive value both for the customer and the business
- Derive qualitative and quantitative insights, leveraging direct customer stories, feedback and data trends
- Work cross-functionally to drive efficiencies throughout the account lifecycle
- Make informed recommendations to Product, Sales, Marketing, and Support on how to improve the customer experience across different types of accounts
- Seek to achieve operational excellence by iterating and improving on playbooks, internal tools and resources, and cross-functional & internal processes
- Work directly with customers to improve their experience with Uber for Business, facilitating quarterly business reviews
- Responsible for negotiating renewals, amendments and expansions across book of business
---- Basic Qualifications ----
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 4+ years of B2B experience in a client facing function
- Experience working against revenue driving goals and quota
- Excellent written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of operational excellence, developing strategies to expand accounts and implementing them effectively
- Collaborate in a fast-paced team environment and have a competitive edge
- Strong use of insights and confidence around data-driven decision making
- Ability to problem solve, adapt, and grow quickly as we build the Automotive team
- Excellent organization, project management, and time management skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit

- 1+ years experience of selling or managing technical solutions within the automotive industry
- Has sophisticated understanding of automotive industry landscape, customers, and high-level industry trends
For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$81,000 per year - USD$90,000 per year.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$90,000 per year - USD$100,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$90,000 per year - USD$100,000 per year.
