About The Role

Uber's Investor Relations team crafts the investment narrative and is responsible for developing and leading long term shareholder relationships! Internally, Investor Relations serves as a strategic partner to several groups, providing competitive intelligence, inputs on growth initiatives, and bringing in external perspectives to the decision making process.

As part of a small team, the Investor Relations Manager will partner with and support the Head of Investor Relations across all aspects of the function. Be prepared to have your analytical and communication skills sharpened in an ambitious and exciting setting!

What You'll Do

• Executes the collection, analysis, and presentation of feedback to the company of investors’ perceptions and opinions, security analysts’ positions and summaries, relative stock price movements, and periodic ownership analysis.
• Collaborates in executing the global investor relations program, including strategy (linked to the company’s strategy), operating plan, budget, and the detailed execution of the IR operating plan.
• Crafts Uber’s external and internal messages and helps ensure that all company external and internal communications are coordinated and consistent.
• Speaks on behalf of the company at investor meetings and discussions.
• Analyzes our business to understand how investors and analysts will think about our business today and in the future.
• Helps write quarterly earnings call scripts and prepare executives for investor interactions, e.g. institutional investor conferences.
• Uses statistical targeting to identify good-fit institutional investors; contacts the analysts at those institutions to verify possible interest and to encourage interest and investment.
• Supports the investors’ decision-making processes through visits to institutions, individual meetings, visits by analysts and investors to company plants, and visits with appropriate other senior leaders.
• Supports security analysts in brokerage firms.
• Directs the investor CRM and intelligence systems that support the investor relations program.
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• 6+ years' proven experience
• BS/BA degree or equivalent
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
• GAAP reporting, financial modeling, and stock valuation (relative valuation and DCF)
• CFA designation (or progress towards it)
• Strong prioritization skills for time sensitive and public deliverables
• Ability to stay on top of global competitive trends and process a wide variety of information
• Previous experience working with executive leadership teams

For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $156,000 per year - $173,000 per year.
