Context & Environment

The Procurement Specialist will support the US Onshore Utility-Scale Renewables division by managing procurement processes across multiple technical categories. This includes strategic sourcing, ERP management, supplier engagement, and cross-functional coordination to ensure successful execution of renewable energy projects.
Activities

- Enforce TotalEnergies’ Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policy in all his/her responsibilities and ensure that external third parties (EPC firms, consultants.) operate in a manner acceptable to TotalEnergies HSE standards.
- Strong knowledge of Contracts & Procurement process, standards, and best practices.
- Main focus: Sourcing Contract activities for various departments including EPC, BESS, Environmental, Civil Engineering, Interconnection, O&M, and Development.
- Build, maintain, and prioritize key vendor and contractor relationships, including providing regular guidance to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with development, engineering, construction, and operations teams to forecast EPC and equipment costs as well as provide input regarding procurement risks.
- Ensure suppliers are thoroughly vetted, as per TotalEnergies - Supplier Qualification process.
- Implement and uphold TERUSA procurement processes ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
- Lead development and deployment of RFPs and RFIs, analyze bids, and select vendors.
- Deploy and negotiate contractual documents, including Master Agreements, Work Orders, and Purchase Orders.
- Serve as Category Lead across multiple critical areas and drive sourcing strategies aligned with project goals.
- Plan procurement timelines and milestones to align with broader project schedules.
- Coordinate deliverables across departments for seamless execution.
- Provide procurement process guidance.
- Conduct market research and supplier outreach, assess capabilities, and negotiate favorable terms.
- Manage supplier onboarding and monitor performance.
- Validate backup documentation for order entry, route documents for signature, and respond to internal inquiries.
Candidate Profile

Qualifications / Experience Required
- Associate / Bachelor's degree preferred; in Business, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent working experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement and sourcing, preferably in the Renewables sector.
- Hands-on experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or MBC.
- Understanding internal controls and checks and balances in accounting systems.
- High ethical standards and professionalism.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Autonomous and proactive work ethic.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Team player with commitment to a professional and healthy working environment.
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
