As part of the People Operations team, the People Operations Specialist will help create and support People Operations processes necessary to build a great company, while embracing our dynamic and collaborative culture.
This is a hybrid role and will require on-site presence at our St. Louis Park, MN office 3 days per week.
What you’ll be doing:
Talent Acquisition:
· Establish relationships with hiring managers across the business to understand their needs and identify effective recruiting strategies
· Recruit all levels of candidates including niche, technical and specialized talent
· Source, interview, and evaluate candidates in a timely manner
· Draft and post job openings, track requisitions, conduct phone screens, coordinate and schedule interviews, draft and extend offers, order background checks and check references.
· Manage jobs in Lever (ATS) and LinkedIn Recruiter and provide regular progress reporting
People Operations:
· HRIS Administration (Namely), to keep records of personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, compensation, employee statistics for government reporting
· New Hire onboarding, including all required communication, coordination and administrative tasks
· Offboarding of exiting employees, including all required communication, coordination and administrative tasks
· Assist with the resolution of human resource, compensation, and benefits questions, concerns, and issues
· Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
· Be a culture champion – generate ideas, events and initiatives that support an inclusive and collaborative hybrid workforce
· Coordinate with Marketing team on social media content to maintain a positive online presence for People Operations. · Content topics may include company culture, talent acquisition needs, wellness, community engagement, and development activities.
What we are looking for:
· Minimum 2 years of People Operations experience
· Bachelor’s degree, preferably in HR, Business, or related field
· Ability to learn systems, processes, and procedures quickly
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Ability to prioritize tasks
· Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
· Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
· Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems
Compensation/Benefits: The anticipated base salary range for this role is $75,000 - $85,000 annually. Final total compensation offered is dependent upon the selected individual's qualifications and experience. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on company performance and other factors. As an employee of the company, you will be eligible to participate in the Employee Stock Option Plan.
