As our Director or Senior Director of People Operations, you will manage the entire employee lifecycle from recruiting to onboarding all the way through offboarding. You will be responsible for administering payroll & benefits to our global workforce, leading performance management & employee engagement, and owning total rewards & recognition programs. Reporting to the General Counsel, you’ll partner closely with leadership to cultivate a high performing & highly engaged workplace. This is an opportunity to operate at both the strategic & tactical level and requires a “no task too small” mindset when it comes to the employee experience.

How You'll Contribute:

  • Oversee payroll & benefits administration (insurance, 401(k), wellbeing offerings) for our United States & Ireland entities
  • Own the entire employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, engagement, and offboarding
  • Support Thrive’s recruiting efforts by partnering with hiring managers to secure requisition approval, develop job descriptions, and drive the hiring process from conception to offer
  • Manage Thrive’s proactive performance management processes, including administering semi-annual performance assessments, coaching managers, and creating a culture of continuous feedback
  • Lead Thrive’s total rewards program, including compensation review & adjustment process
  • Develop & implement learning & development offerings, including manager training, leadership development, and skill-building opportunities for all employees
  • Collect and synthesize employee feedback, sharing actionable insights with the leadership team and driving forward meaningful change within the organization
  • Ensure HR compliance with local, state, federal, and international employment laws, including completion of required audits, quarterly and annual reporting, and policy creation

Must Haves:

  • 5-7 years of Human Resources or People Operations experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership-facing role
  • Demonstrated experience managing global payroll & benefits, including experience partnering with brokers, carriers, and other third party vendors
  • Proven experience in leading performance management, employee engagement, and total rewards programs
  • Exceptional communication & coaching skills, with the ability to influence others and advise executive leaders, people managers, and employees
  • Comfort with using people data to identify trends, glean actionable insights, and use data to inform people strategy
  • Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and to manage multiple priorities

Compensation for this role depends on level, and will likely fall in the $161,000-197,000 range. We provide a competitive mix of salary, performance bonus, and equity
