Introduction

The Zebra revolutionizes how connected consumers research and shop for insurance. We intentionally strive to build diverse teams that feel inclusive for all. Our motto is “All Stripes Welcome,” and we put that into practice by valuing both traditional and non-traditional backgrounds and perspectives.

About the Role:

As a Senior Manager, Agency Enablement, you’ll architect, operationalize, and scale the learning and performance systems that empower our advisors to thrive. You’ll lead both the Training and Enablement functions; owning strategy, content, tools, and performance adoption across the Agency.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for designing the infrastructure, processes, and programs that enable The Zebra’s Agency to grow rapidly over the next three years. Your mission is to build a scalable, measurable enablement engine that accelerates advisor readiness, consistency, and results.

Location & Travel:

Our employees can choose to work remotely in the U.S. Join us in our Austin, Texas office, or opt for a hybrid setup. Whether you prefer the structure of an office, the convenience of remote work, or a mix of both, we support what works best for you! Travel up to 15% may be required for collaboration, team facilitation, or on-site training sessions.

Please note - At this time we are not able to hire in California, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and New York.

What You’ll Do:

Lead and Build the Enablement Function

  • Build and lead the end-to-end Enablement organization, including Training, Enablement, and future specialists responsible for onboarding, continuous learning, and performance reinforcement.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, VOC, and QA to align learning programs to business outcomes.

  • Establish enablement governance, success metrics, and tools to scale efficiently as the Agency grows rapidly.

  • Serve as a hands-on leader; balancing strategic planning with direct program execution when needed.

Design and Deliver Scalable Learning Systems

  • Architect structured onboarding, certification, and ongoing development programs for Sales, Service, and Leadership roles.

  • Maintain and evolve learning content, curricula, and assessments using platforms like Articulate, Confluence, and Google Suite.

  • Leverage data to measure learning impact and optimize ramp time and performance outcomes.

Drive Performance Enablement

  • Translate VOC, QA, and Operations insights into actionable enablement initiatives that drive advisor performance, conversion, and retention.

  • Develop playbooks, scripts, tools, and reinforcement programs that strengthen consistency and compliance.

  • Ensure sales frameworks, communication standards, and product knowledge evolve alongside business needs and regulatory changes.

Measure, Report, and Scale Impact

  • Define and track enablement KPIs such as ramp time, adoption rates, certification completion, and conversion lift.

  • Use data storytelling to communicate ROI to executive leadership and inform future investments.

  • Build repeatable feedback loops and enablement dashboards to demonstrate program success and identify ongoing opportunities.

What We’re Looking For:

As we evaluate candidates across all roles, we look for individuals with a strong sense of ownership, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and a dedication to continuous improvement.

  • 7+ years in learning, enablement, or sales training roles, with 3+ years in a leadership or strategy capacity (preferably in a high-growth or regulated environment).

  • Proven success building or scaling enablement programs for Sales, Service, or Operations teams.

  • Deep understanding of adult learning principles, coaching methodologies, and enablement technologies.

  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and analytical storytelling skills.

  • Experience with Articulate, LMS platforms, Confluence, and CRM or QA systems (Genesys Cloud preferred).

  • Demonstrated ability to align enablement strategy to business performance metrics such as conversion, retention, and advisor readiness.

  • Insurance, SaaS, or other regulated industry experience preferred.

Benefits & Perks:

Inclusive and healthy environments are crafted intentionally. All of our employees can join and participate in (or create your own!) Employee Resource Groups. Here are some of the wonderful perks of working here:

  • Competitive Compensation & Stock Option Offering

  • Health, Dental, Vision & Disability Coverages

  • $300 pet reimbursement program

  • 401(k) with match
