We are seeking a motivated and responsible Wonderful Scholar for full-time 8-week internship. In this position, you will gain hands-on professional experience and learn how the department runs. This position reports to the Senior Manager, EHS, and will work with other managers and directors of the EHS department. This internship will work alongside EHS Managers and Directors to assist business units of The Wonderful Company in their EHS needs.
Job Description
- Provide day-to-day support to EH&S Director and team as we serve the Wonderful business units in the California Central Valley.
- Provide support to our Process Safety Manager and Business Units in the areas of Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Plans (RMP).
- Provide support in the development of Safety & Environmental training and development material.
- Plan and organize work and develop procedures to meet requirements.
- Travel to various Business Units in the Central Valley and Paso Robles.
- Assist other Safety personnel in other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be above the age of 18 and currently be eligible for the Wonderful Scholarship

- Focus within the following college majors is desired: Environmental Health and Safety, Public Health, Engineering and Architecture, or Teaching and Education.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-directed and able to work autonomously
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
Pay Rate: $18.50 an hour. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
