Job Description
Overview:
The Procurement Analyst will support the procurement function by managing purchasing activities across multiple categories, including MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) supplies and dry goods such as corrugate, film, and netting materials. This position plays a key role in conducting competitive bids, analyzing supplier performance, and ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Here's what you'll do:
Assist with the purchasing of MRO materials and related supplies to support operational needs
Perform competitive bids, RFQs, and RFPs across various spend categories to ensure best total value for the company
Manage the procurement of dry goods such as corrugate, film, and netting, maintaining optimal inventory levels and supplier reliability
Support procurement reporting, spend analysis, and cost savings tracking
Partner with internal stakeholders to understand requirements, forecast demand, and ensure on-time delivery of materials
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the ERP system for purchase orders, supplier data, and contract information
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen supplier relationships
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Here's what you'll bring to the table:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operations
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and data analysis).
Experience working within an ERP system (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving ability
Salary: $72,700.00 and may include a discretionary bonus.
