We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented professional to join our team as an E-Commerce & Special Events Account Specialist. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing customer orders from around the globe, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience. We’re looking for someone enthusiastic and proactive—someone who can anticipate customer needs, actively listen to concerns, and deliver innovative, tailored solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of our customer service standards and be well-versed in our product offerings, enabling them to provide fast, accurate, and effective support.
Job Description
E-commerce Order Management:
- Process Ecommerce orders within 24 hours and oversee from submission to delivery
- Possess strong understanding of Amazon Vendor Central portal and be able to confirm/route new orders and run analytical reports
- Analyze inventory data to determine how to best allocate e-commerce inventory
- Act as a liaison for internal teams (i.e., planning, accounting, operations etc.) and E-commerce customers to solve problems, clarify requirements and negotiate resolutions
- Collaborate with Distribution, Transportation and Drayage teams to expedite order fulfillment when necessary and to resolve issues
- Possess strong knowledge of Amazon compliance requirements and assist to reduce/avoid chargebacks
- Manage Month-End Closing for Home Delivery
- Process Return Material Authorization requests and address issues in a timely manner
Non-Revenue Order Management:
- Process non-revenue orders for Special Events/Samples/Quality/PR/Executive samples within 24 hours
- Manage all aspects of non-revenue orders from request to delivery, tracking progress and intervening/troubleshooting for timely execution of deliverables
- Perform cost analysis for orders with an emphasis on On-Time Delivery at the lowest rates
- Manage all aspects of domestic and international Disposal Order management and ensure accuracy
- Facilitate weekly meetings with PR Team
- Communicate daily order status to all relevant parties
General Responsibilities and Duties:
- Communicate solutions, successes, and opportunities to Customer Service Manager
- Oversee BOT performance and report failures
- Maintain standards, systems, and best practices for E-Commerce, Special Events and Disposal Orders
- Document Standard Operating Procedures and update as needed
- Support overall supply chain planning, sales operations, and expansion projects
- Maintain an exemplary customer service/problem-solving attitude and handle difficult customer situations to our customers’ satisfaction
- Be self-motivated and solution focused
- Continuously seek opportunities and take initiative to streamline operations
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-3 years’ work experience
- BS/BA required, preferably in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance or Business Management
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to always remain professional and courteous with customers
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership, relationship building
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Master-level proficiency in Excel including pivot tables, v-lookup formulas, graph creation and other essential skills
- High level of proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, MS Outlook
- Willing to work outside normal business hours to complete time sensitive projects
- Experience with order management systems (Oracle highly preferred)
