Job Description

We are seeking a Clinic Administrator to join our Central Valley Health & Wellness team. This position will be based at our clinic in Lost Hills, CA clinic(s) with travel to our Delano, CA facility(ies). For the right candidate, this will provide an incredible opportunity to support development, implementation, and optimization of administrative operations with a team that is evolving a new model for world-class health and wellness to have an immense positive impact for underserved and vulnerable populations. This position is an integral part of our onsite primary care team and will help provide leadership to ensure the daily operations of the clinic are smooth.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure smooth daily clinical operations and steady progress towards established program goals
  • Effectively manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously to ensure the timely completion of all administrative duties, particularly those related to day-to-day clinic operations
  • Educate staff and enforce current Policies and Procedures to ensure compliance
  • Identify opportunities to optimize Policies and Procedures and lead efforts to make appropriate revisions when needed
  • Maintain a safe patient and work environment
  • Create, update, and maintain quarterly clinic schedule to include Providers and support staff
  • Effective planning, organization, and implementation skills are necessary for managing clinical schedules, accurate entry into the Electronic medical records, and appropriate use of blocking time
  • Work closely with Senior Director, Clinical Operations to identify and implement improvements to clinical operations and patient care
  • Ability to identify and address issues that may arise within the clinic is essential for maintaining smooth operations
  • Serve as Site Specialist for the Electronic Medical Record, i.e., Ochin/Epic and assisting clinic staff with troubleshooting IT-related issues, i.e., Grapevine
  • Familiarity with software programs such as electronic health records (EHR) systems, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office suite is important for administrative tasks
  • Serve as liaison between L.A. office/HR and sister Business Units and all clinic locations for coordination of administrative tasks, such as new employee orientation and onboarding, logistics of materials being transported between locations, and scheduling of clinic wide activities
  • Support onsite and community-based efforts that aim to drive patient engagement, access, population-based patient management
  • Other duties assigned by Senior Director, Clinical Operations

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  • Clear and concise communication is crucial for interacting with staff, patients, and other stakeholders
  • Administrators must be detail-oriented and able to manage paperwork, scheduling, and other administrative tasks efficiently

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years providing operational and administrative support in a healthcare setting
  • Must possess good communication skills, written and verbal, and the ability to work well with a variety of people
  • Ability to prioritize and problem-solve
  • Strong interest in driving population health
  • Written and verbal fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred

Pay Range: $28.85 – $32.69/Hour. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
