Based in Rockingham, Western Australia, the Integrated Logistics & Facility Manager is responsible for leading warehouse operations and optimising the utilisation of the local repair facility to support the broader Scylla program requirements. This role strengthens local capability, improves operational efficiency, and enhances alignment between logistics, engineering, and project delivery teams. Additionally, the position also carries defined responsibilities for feeding key ILS inputs into established processes, ensuring customer and internal contracted requirements are met.
The Maritime, Under Water Systems (UWS) team in Western Australia comprises a number of Customer Support Services based contracts and activities. These include Collins Class Submarine In Service Support (ISS) Contract for the Thales Sonar Suite (Scylla), MU90 Light Weight Torpedo In Service Support Contract, and support to Thales Sonar equipment installed on the ANZAC Class Frigates.

KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Logistics & Facility Support Manager, you are accountable for:
- Provide day-to-day leadership of the warehouse team to ensure effective material handling, storage, dispatch, and inventory accuracy
- Maintain compliance with Defence, security, and company requirements for the management of controlled, hazardous, or sensitive items.
- Drive process improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and reliability across warehouse operations.
- Manage the scheduling, workflow, and utilisation of the small repair facility to increase throughput and reduce reliance on the interstate facility.
- Identify opportunities to expand capability, streamline processes, and increase the volume and complexity of repairs completed locally.
- Work with engineering and technicians to prioritise tasks, resolve issues, and ensure repair activities align with program requirements.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance and Engineering teams and maintain visibility of program sparing supportability considerations.
- Providing accurate data to project teams to ensure ILS requirements are appropriately scoped and delivered during project execution phase.
- Coordinate with the IPT team and monitor configuration change process compliance.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with local customer representatives to support responsive issue resolution and transparent communication
KEY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
To be successful in your role, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent work experience in logistics, supply chain or warehouse management.
- A minimum 8 years’ experience in managing operations, material handling and inventory control preferably within a Defence, Manufacturing or related industry.
- Extensive experience in Warehousing and Logistics management.
- Experience in establishing new Warehouse facilities, infrastructure and processes for Warehousing and Logistics.
- Direct relevant experience in related supply chain disciplines (including inventory management and procurement).
- Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.
- Sound computer software and MS Office skills.
- Experience with the SAP ERP system is desirable
- Familiarity with ILS principles and configuration management processes and procedures.
