YOUR ROLE

Join our Cyber Technical Services team as a Senior Consultant – Vulnerability Management, where you’ll lead secure delivery across enterprise-grade environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).


This is a hands-on role for an expert generalist who thrives in dynamic, hybrid environments and enjoys solving complex security challenges across varied platforms and toolsets.

You’ll drive technical execution, uplift security posture, and guide remediation aligned with NIST and Essential Eight standards. You’ll also mentor peers and lead technical streams across diverse client engagements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver secure solutions across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud platforms

  • Lead vulnerability management tool implementation and uplift efforts

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-impact project outcomes

  • Mentor junior engineers and support technical delivery across multiple engagements

  • Create high-quality documentation and contribute to scalable, secure solutions

  • Identify, assess, and prioritise vulnerabilities across diverse environments

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Broad experience across enterprise environments, with a strong foundation in security operations and infrastructure

  • Familiarity with Tenable, Ivanti, CrowdStrike, ServiceNow, Wiz, and Phosphorus products

  • Experience administering Windows, Linux systems and Azure, AWS, GCP cloud platforms

  • Understanding of NIST/Essential Eight, vulnerability management and patch management

  • Ability to communicate technical risks to both technical and senior audiences

  • A proactive mindset, eagerness to explore new tools and clients, and ability to balance priorities in dynamic settings

  • Comfort with scripting is beneficial but not essential

GOOD TO KNOW

A Defence security clearance is required for this role; applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.
