OUR TEAM

Our Explosive Ordnance Services team enables the Australian Defence Force through storage, distribution, maintenance and disposal of these systems, all across Australia. As a turnkey solution, we offer the opportunity to gain a holistic understanding of our business operations, creating huge opportunities for professional growth. YOUR ROLE

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will support inventory and logistics management for the distribution of EO and associated equipment across Australia and abroad. Reporting to the Project Manager Logistics, you will coordinate and finalise transport solutions, maintain EO inventory records, and ensure compliance with Defence and legislative requirements. You will collaborate closely with team members, third-party contractors, stakeholders, and EO Services staff while driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics and transport processes. Coordinate inventory and logistics activities to achieve business objectives

  • Coordinate day-to-day third-party transportation operations and EO distribution across depots and approved sites

  • Deliver logistics support for domestic and international consignments by sea, air, or road

  • Manage EO inventory using COMSARM, ensuring accuracy in storage, issues, returns, maintenance, and distribution

  • Develop and execute wholesale distribution schedules, considering resource constraints.

  • Support business improvement by identifying opportunities to optimise transport and logistics processes

  • Prepare reports, business cases, and briefing papers for both internal and external stakeholders

  • Perform data analysis using Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, charts) and generate COMSARM reports

  • Ensure compliance with Defence controls, WHS, environmental legislation, and State/Territory regulations

  • Assist with training staff in transport management best practices and consignment planning

  • Work collaboratively across procurement and business management teams to ensure cost-effective solutions

YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • Diploma in Logistic Management or equivalent

  • Experience with commercial inventory systems

  • Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills

  • Desirable knowledge of Defence supply chain and inventory systems
