About the Role
We are seeking a Network Security Architect – Research, Architecture and Development is responsible for leading small and large scale projects, and proactively striving to improve the security capabilities within client organisations, delivering high quality outcomes, and ensuring consultants are performing to their maximum potential while continuously developing strong stakeholder relationships with client key stakeholders.
Working from either our Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra or Brisbane offices, your role will include:
Demonstrate sound understanding of the Cyber 360 strategy and its alignment to client needs to drive opportunities and deliver multi service engagements
Establish and maintain a trusted advisor relationship with Client’s by using your in-depth consulting experienced and strategic account management expertise
Ensuring the company’s cloud, identity and network projects and assessments are compliant to industry recognised security standards as applicable
Identify and lead security projects as well as identifying and developing new service offerings.
Perform various Security Architecture and engineering services
Be technically capable of delivering high quality service outcomes across the Group security architecture portfolio at the budgeted utilisation levels.
Provide quality reports for the client for both executive and technical audiences describing findings, outlining risk levels, compliance maturity and recommendations for remediation and ensure all agreed deliverables are of high standard
Contribute to the development and sharing of knowledge across the Group
Work alongside the sales team in identifying and where required, developing new opportunities with existing and new customers.
Take accountability for the team’s utilisation target, cost models (hiring and salary reviews) and financial goals
About You
To be successful in your role, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience:
A bachelor’s degree in information security, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in network and cyber security.
Industry certifications from Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google GCP, Fortinet and Palo Alto preferred.
Experience (Pre Sales and Hands on) working with CSPM tools like Wiz/Orca/Palo Alto, SASE tools like Palo Alto Prisma Access/Zscaler/Netskope, OKTA/Ping IAM solutions and PAM solutions like Cyberark/Delinea/BeyondTrust.
Professional security certifications are an advantage (i.e., CISSP, CISA, CISM, ISO27001 LA/LI, PCIDSS QSA)
Ability to apply best practice frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, ASD Essential Eight.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly explain concepts.
Open-minded and forward-thinking in terms of vision for the business and team culture.
Ability to work as a team with decisions made to support moving toward common goals.
Experience working in a Pre-Sales function would be advantageous.
