YOUR ROLE

The Applications Engineer Intern that will be located in our Burlington, MA or Santa Clara, CA office will have a role focused on cloud based IoT with our engineering teams.

• Operate in a lab environment to enhance lab capabilities, perform characterization, and conduct system validation testing.
• Validate and test Cloud based IoT systems
• Assist in developing sensor data analysis and visualization routines.
• Create classification-based solutions to solve real world problems.
• Support testing activities to meet customer application requirements.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

• Proficiency or working knowledge of IoT Systems (Azure).
• Experience with Linux based systems (Raspberry Pi).
• Good understanding of communication protocols such as SPI, UART, and I²C.
• Experience with programming and debugging C code for embedded systems.
• Familiarity with Machine Learning Concepts.
• Good communication skills and fluency in English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior experience working with sensors, such as accelerometers, gyroscopes, magnetometers, and pressure sensors.
• Experience with firmware development for embedded systems using C/Rust.
• Comfortable working in Linux® environments, command-line tools, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
