YOUR ROLE
The Applications Engineer Intern that will be located in our Burlington, MA or Santa Clara, CA office will have a role focused on cloud based IoT with our engineering teams.
- Operate in a lab environment to enhance lab capabilities, perform characterization, and conduct system validation testing.
- Validate and test Cloud based IoT systems
- Assist in developing sensor data analysis and visualization routines.
- Create classification-based solutions to solve real world problems.
- Support testing activities to meet customer application requirements.
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
- Proficiency or working knowledge of IoT Systems (Azure).
- Experience with Linux based systems (Raspberry Pi).
- Good understanding of communication protocols such as SPI, UART, and I²C.
- Experience with programming and debugging C code for embedded systems.
- Familiarity with Machine Learning Concepts.
- Good communication skills and fluency in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience working with sensors, such as accelerometers, gyroscopes, magnetometers, and pressure sensors.
- Experience with firmware development for embedded systems using C/Rust.
- Comfortable working in Linux® environments, command-line tools, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
