The Die Maintenance Area Manager is responsible for the salary supervisors and skilled trades groups' activities, including planning, scheduling, safety, etc. This position leads teams with safety initiatives, Kaizen events and other Stellantis Industrial System (SIS) processes, and works closely with production and maintenance teams to resolve issues related to throughput and quality. The Die Maintenance Area Manager will utilize, lead and teach the usage and maintenance of Stellantis Production Way, and will problem solve to identify and rectify production-stamping dies quickly and efficiently.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or 10 or more years of Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment with a Journeymen card or apprenticeship
  • Ability to work with all levels of management, union leadership, and others
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of dies, try-out, troubleshooting and repairing damaged dies and metal forming
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Results driven
  • Strong commitment to leadership and developing others' skills
  • Ability to work any shift and over time as required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree or Journeyman Certification in Tool and Die
  • Knowledge and Understanding of World Class Manufacturing and ability to use Stellantis Industrial System (SIS) tools and methodologies
