The Emissions Architect will be responsible for developing emissions systems to meet future emissions standards (e.g., TIER4, California LEV IV, EURO7, China 6, PL8, etc.) for future vehicle propulsion applications. Development activities will focus on emissions system technologies including engine hardware, exhaust sensors, control strategies, calibration, and the integration of these technologies into the propulsion system. The Emission Architect will develop proof-of-concept technologies to provide solutions for Propulsion functional objectives. These projects will utilize engine, powertrain, vehicle chassis dynamometers and/or simulation/modeling to make physics-based decisions.
