Experienced Financial Advisor
Stash Wealth
New York, NY
Base: $90,000 - $130,000 + Equity
THE ROLEMost advisor jobs look the same - prospect, sell, repeat. At Stash Wealth, we’re building something radically different, and we’re looking for someone who wants to spend time where it matters most - with clients. No cold calls. No chasing leads.
Our clients come to us ready for guidance, not a sales pitch. We work with ambitious 30-somethings in the early innings of wealth building, navigating equity comp, home buying, career moves, kids, and student loans. Your job is to earn their trust, cut through complexity, and keep them accountable to the plan that changes their life.
Beyond client work, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape the firm itself. You’ll partner with leadership to refine processes, scale operations, and evolve our proprietary software.
WHO WE AREWe’re a small, scrappy team with a meaningful mission and a big vision. Over the last 10 years, we’ve cracked the code on serving a generation traditional firms wouldn’t touch - helping thousands of ambitious 30-somethings get their financial sh*t together.
We know this demographic better than anyone. And we’ve built and refined the tools, philosophy, and playbook to serve them with unmatched clarity.
Traditional firms ignore this demographic unless they’re sitting on millions. Fintechs chase them with apps and assembly-line advice. Neither is enough. We offer human-first, tech-enabled advice for high-earning young professionals who want to unlock their potential and confidently enjoy their money now.
Looking ahead, we’re redefining what personal finance means. Our goal is to modernize the advisor–client experience and shift the focus away from simply saving for retirement to using money as a tool to live well today while still building for tomorrow.
Our client meetings are virtual, but our team is in-person - collaborating, growing, and building something that will stand the test of time from our headquarters in downtown Manhattan.
WHO YOU ARE- You lean into hard conversations instead of dodging them.
- You’d rather call a client out than watch them drift off-plan.
- You see jargon and “advisor speak” as ego, not expertise.
- You’re relentless about your friends’ money choices (and you’re usually right).
- You’d rather focus on building trust and delivering advice than chasing leads or selling products.
- To be local. This is an in-person, NYC-based role.
- 5+ years experience leading client relationships.
- CFP® designation (preferred) or Series 65 license.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with planning software and back-office operations (ACHs, ACATs, rebalancing, tax-loss harvesting).
- An entrepreneurial mindset - comfortable with change, ready to wear multiple hats, and energized by the fact that no two days are the same.
- Excitement for the chance to earn equity and meaningful ownership in a fast-growing WealthTech.
