We are a tight knit group with a team first mentality. We strive to achieve our product development efforts through our team culture, clean code, and hard work!</span> </p> <p> <span>You are an experienced engineer with a unique combination of skills and expertise that enables collaboration, innovation and cultural shifts within the organization. You love automating any repetitive task that you encounter, and are also able to think strategically.</span> </p> <p> <span>You’ll work with multiple engineering teams in the organization to build and enhance a secure and cost effective infrastructure on the cloud. You’ll assess the engineering release deployment and support processes and integrate improvements with the knowledge of the industry best practices. You are a self-starter requiring minimal supervision, and you are motivated and inspired to deliver high quality work to make a big business impact.</span> </p> <p></p> <p> <strong>Responsibilities.</strong> <span> Your responsibilities will include:</span> </p> <ul> <li><span>Manage all of AWS network infrastructure services, including identity and authentication, role-based and policy-based permissions, network routing and partitioning, and security group management through automation tools (Terraform ) and following best practices</span></li> <li><span>Support application development and data teams in ensuring secure access to data is implemented per our Information Security Management Plan</span></li> <li><span>Participate in regular, ongoing infrastructure security reviews, access control reviews, and audit reviews to ensure compliance with organization policies</span></li> <li><span>Create new AWS network infrastructure components and services to support secure implementation of application and data team initiatives</span></li> <li><span>Work closely with product engineering teams to evolve CI/CD, software build toolchains, and automation tools</span></li> <li><span>Build effective infrastructure redundancy and failover processes</span></li> <li><span>Support end user tool requests and troubleshooting of access challenges reported by all teams</span></li> <li><span>Support the business unit with various information assurance/compliance support needs, with an eye for automating and optimizing the efforts</span></li> </ul> <p></p> <p> <strong>Skills and Experience.</strong> <span> Candidates should have:</span> </p> <ul> <li><span>Minimum 5 years of relevant industry working experience</span></li> <li><span>Using, managing, and securing AWS or other public cloud services</span></li> <li><span>Security concepts in AWS and with the available automation and security tools, such as Inspector, GuardDuty, Macie, Config, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Terraform, WAF etc., while also being familiar with third party alternatives (and when it is beneficial to use them).</span></li> <li><span>How to administer and effectively manage monitoring and detection systems that are UNIX, Linux, and/or BSD based that are based in AWS.</span></li> <li><span>Computer networking, routing, and protocols</span></li> <li><span>Deploying Identity and access management services including Single Sign On (SSO) frameworks and mechanisms such as OAuth, SCIM, and SAML.</span></li> <li><span>Log management and analytics tools, including open source and commercial platforms/toolsets.</span></li> <li><span>Implementing, Integrating, and tuning network and cloud security infrastructure, applications (web and mobile), as well as security tools and platforms, and the automation to operationalize them</span></li> <li><span>Integrating security in the continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline for Networking as code and Infrastructure as code (running unit tests, running security tools, managing secrets using tools such as Vault) using configuration management and automation tools such as Jenkins, Chef, Ansible, Puppet, etc.</span></li> <li><span>The ability to monitor, evaluate, and interpret system and design vulnerabilities, cloud platform/system/device/IDS/IPS logs, general threat analysis.</span></li> <li><span>Ability to research highly technical topics and derive logical conclusions using well thought out processes, eliminating bias and logical fallacies.</span></li> <li><span>Ability to combine information from various sources into clear, concise technical documents, network diagrams, and data flow diagrams.</span></li> </ul> <p></p> <p> <span>Salary is based on experience and location.</span> </p> <p> <span>Salary range (Latin America): $45,000 - $55,000.</span> </p> <p></p><div> <p><strong>Benefits.</strong>What we offer:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary</li> <li>Medical, dental, and vision insurance</li> <li>401(k) retirement savings plan</li> <li>Discretionary time off (DTO)</li> <li>Wellness stipend</li> <li>And more!</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><strong>A Note on Covid...</strong></p> <p><span>We are fortunate to continue to grow during this unfortunate time.
