Position Overview
Simulmedia is seeking a visionary and strategic Director of Brand Marketing to lead and evolve our brand identity and market positioning. This role is ideal for a highly motivated marketing leader with a strong background in advanced TV and digital media, who has an entrepreneurial spirit and can blend creative excellence with data-driven insights to elevate brand awareness, preference, and equity.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Positioning
Define and evolve Simulmedia’s brand narrative, positioning, and visual identity to reflect its unique value proposition in a dynamic market.
Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints, internal and external including keeping collateral updated, educating team members on messaging changes, etc.
​​Lead events evaluation, planning and execution, including corporate conferences, trade shows, webinars and networking events that support sales and marketing objectives.
Develop comprehensive event strategies aligned with business objectives
Negotiate contracts, renewals and manage all aspects of events planning including, budget allocation, invites, presentation development and more
Manage external communications including PR strategy, analyst relations, sponsorships, and speaking engagements.
Define KPIs and success metrics for brand performance (e.g., awareness, recall, share of voice, sentiment).
Lead the development and execution of multi-channel brand campaigns across paid, earned, owned, and shared media.
Oversee brand creative development—concepts, storytelling, copy, and design—that emotionally connects with customers and differentiates Simulmedia in the market.
Develop and own content marketing content marketing initiatives including video, thought leadership, social media, and experiential campaigns.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Manage and mentor Growth and Content Marketing team, providing guidance and support to achieve their goals.
Champion a culture of creativity, inclusion, and results-driven thinking within the broader marketing function.
Qualifications
10+ years of brand marketing experience in high-growth B2B or media/tech companies, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven track record of building and evolving premium brands in competitive industries.
Deep understanding of the advertising and media ecosystem—linear TV, CTV, digital video, programmatic, etc.
Strong storytelling, communication, and design sensibility with experience managing cross-functional creative and agency partners.
Data-savvy with experience using analytics to drive brand decisions.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
We're required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances of each case, but a reasonable estimate of the current base range for this role is $150,000 - $155,000. Note that this range is specific to national metro areas and that offers take into account a wide variety of potential factors considered in compensation, including but not limited to skill, qualifications, accomplishments, experience, credentials, and business needs.
