Shopify moves at an extremely fast pace. As an Executive Assistant, you will have to maintain, organize and juggle priorities in a fast paced environment. You’ll not only be a calendar and communications wizard, but also have a finger on the pulse of your leaders and the discipline, be unbelievably proactive, and be able to gain a solid understanding of the business as it evolves and grows so you can ensure your leaders and teams are focusing on the highest priority needs on any given day.
Specifics about these roles:
While this role encompasses elements of people leadership, project management and many other diverse skills, it is fundamentally focused on administrative excellence.
Passion for Admin: Keep leaders on track by organizing meetings and product reviews, managing multiple calendars, share updates and reminders, and informing them of critical discussions and priorities. You will book travel, manage complicated expenses and administratively support in-office events in your business area.
Mind The Gap: You will identify gaps in admin resources - create, update and share them where they’re needed.
AI: You will use AI tools for many facets of your day-to-day work, explore new tooling and methods to streamline your workflows and unlock new efficiencies for your business unit, and you will teach and learn from your colleagues.
Projects and Initiatives: you’ll follow key projects and surface obstacles or problems early so your Leads and their teams can take quick action. Sometimes you’ll help run research projects, special initiatives, and propose ideas.
Culture Builder: You’ll increase engagement and team alignment, and build community and culture, in real life and in a digital by design environment.
Flexible: Provide support to other leaders, teams or projects when high priority needs arise.
Stuff: Do everything that a champion assistant would crush.
While most of Shopify operates remotely, we encourage intentional/collaborative time together in office. This role is expected to spend some time in our new office in Bellevue, Washington to help with team events and activities in the space.

Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated compensation range for this role is $90,000 to $175,000 which includes salary and equity. Pay is based on several factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Depending on the position offered, other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, 401K plan, and other benefits.
