Safety is of primary importance to this and all positions. The Warehouse Operator is primarily responsible to manage inventory utilizing electronic Warehouse Management System, prepare orders and stage materials for shipment, maintain a well organized and clean work area and update required documentation to insure adequate inventory. Dependability is an essential part of this job as well as the ability to team with co-workers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Perform job in a safe manner following all MHE rules/ regulations and training.
  • Perform daily safety inspection of MHE and report all unsafe conditions or Near Miss events immediately.
  • Maintain all MHE equipment for oil, water and battery charge.
  • Wear all PPE as required.
  • Use hand tools as intended especially, those designed for second level picks.
  • Follow all housekeeping and environmental requirements, properly dispose of trash, regularly sweep floor and operate automatic floor sweeper as directed.
  • Perform Forklift/ Floater duties as assigned.
  • Service customer logistics based on pick list request to pull product, build order pallets, stage completed pallets and rearrange partials to maximize storage capacity.
  • Understand and utilize bar code systems with zero errors, complete and submit all daily reporting documents to Supervisor.

  • Accurate- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly is essential.
  • Communication (Oral/ Written) - Ability to communicate with Supervisor, Warehouse Operator, co-workers and managers effectively is essential. Clear/ precise written skill for documentation is critical.
  • Decision Making- Ability to make decisions while following all Company safety rules and procedures is essential especially, when working in and around Warehouse area when operating MHE.
  • Detail Orientated- Ability to note minute detail impacting product quality, packaging and storage is critical.
  • Honesty/Integrity- The trait of being truthful and credible within the workplace is essential.
  • Organized- Ability to follow a systematic method to stage material, manage finished goods, maintain a clean, well organized work area and insuring proper stock levels for production is critical.
  • Problem Solving- Ability to proactively find solutions or manage work related problems is important.
  • Reliability- The trait of being dependable and trustworthy is essential.
  • Team Building- Ability to convince coworkers to participate in safety, quality and service initiatives in effort to promote Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and capture cost savings is essential.
  • Working Under Deadline- Ability to complete assigned tasks and maintain production output standards and improving yield under specified deadlines is critical.

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the pay rate for this position, which is $27.22 per hour, plus #2nd - shift differential of $1/hr. In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for periodic bonus payments/an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 10% of hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.

Additional Pay Incentives for This Role Include:

Shift Differentials ($27.22 plus 2nd Shift Differential of $1/ hr)

  • Standard Overtime (Hourly Rate * 1.5)
  • Attendance Incentive for Meeting Company Attendance Requirements (1 incentive day earned at regular hourly pay rate if no absences within 6 months on a semiannual basis)
