Job description
Implements human resources programs by providing relevant services, which may include recruiting and staffing, administration of compensation and benefits programs, training and development, employee or labor relations, and affirmative action/equal employment opportunity compliance.

•Provides consultative guidance and coaching to managers and employees on human resources-related matters, ensuring alignment with corporate policies, goals, and objectives.
•Advises employees and line management on the application of HR policies within the organization.
•Conducts employee orientations and provides assistance on organizational development topics, such as workforce or succession planning, training, and performance management strategies.
•Ensures adherence to existing HR policies, practices and procedures.
•Completes personnel transactions and maintains associated records.
•Ensures full functional and organizational compliance (documentation, document retention, reporting, etc.).
•Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including EEO, FMLA, and FLSA.
•Collects and analyzes internal and external information/data in order to compare the Company HR practices to those prevailing in the market.
•Proposes and manages projects to improve functional and organizational performance.
•Serves as the Safran Brand Ambassador to promote the Safran within the local community of businesses, schools and candidates.
•Travels to other locations, vendors and training sessions when required.
•Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture.
•Regular, predictable attendance is required.
•Fulfills administrative duties, as required.

Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university applicable to position. 2+ years of relevant experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge/Skills
• PC and Microsoft Office – advanced
• Federal and State Labor Laws – expert
• Organizational skills, ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines – advanced
• Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors – advanced
• Ability to work in a cross-functional/international team environment – advanced
• Ability to take initiative and lead projects from planning to execution – advanced
• Interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills – advanced
• Ability to build collaborative relationships – advanced
Bilingual in English and French and/or English and Spanish - Preferred
