Join our first-class team to reinvent in-flight experience. In the role of Director, Financial Planning, you'll play a pivotal part on our Finance team. The Director of Financial planning is responsible for the financial management and reporting of all aftermarket activity.
The responsibilities include the supervision of the finance team, month end closure and reporting, Planning and execution of the forecasting process through all phases (Rolling Forecast, Actualization, Budget, medium term plan and input to program Business cases) for full P&L, Balance sheet & Free Cash flow, Managing and driving effective cash collections, Monitoring and approval of purchase orders/Capital expenditure, Focal point for Internal Controls and External Audit requirement, and leading the annual standard costing process.
The Director of Financial planning (After market) is responsible for all of the above for each Aftermarket Business area (Upgrades & Modifications, Repair, Spares Distribution, and Spares Manufacturing), providing Business partner support and the consolidation of Total activity, collaborating also with the program management team.
The role reports to the Division CFO/Controller
Job Requirements
Planning of Finance Team requirements, management of team including performance evaluation
Month end closing, including the review and approval of all GL transactions, sales and gross margin analysis per aftermarket business whilst ensuring Revenue recognition adherence in line with IFRS. Full P&L review with detailed variance analysis
Monthly Reporting and presentation of results to Aftermarket VP, Division CFO and EVP
Monthly Business performance reviews with Director/Managers for each Business area (Upgrades & Modifications, Repair, Spares Distribution, and Spares Manufacturing), with a focus on identifying areas of improvement
Inventory Management – Collaboration with Supply chain to provide timely and accurate Inventory Reporting for the Site and at program level, including slow moving and obsolete Inventory review. Supporting spares stock plan process, providing financial impacts to support decision-making.
Management of AR Collections, working closely with aftermarket sales team and shared services AR team
Monthly Balance sheet review, including reconciliation of shared facility split.
Monthly Opex Reporting and cost center reviews to drive cost management
Headcount and Salary reporting and reconciliation with HR
Planning and execution of forecasting process through all phases (Rolling Forecast, Actualization, Budget, medium term plan and input to program Business cases) for full P&L, Balance sheet & Free Cash flow – For the Total Site and individual lines of Business
Monitoring and approval of purchase orders and Capital Expenditure, including a monthly Capex review with Director of operations, reconciliation between general Ledger and Fixed Asset Register, physical verification for Internal controls and expense review to ensure items correctly classified as Fixed Assets
Leading the annual Standard Costing process for aftermarket parts, collaborating with purchasing, supply chain, operations and cost accounting team through shared services – Including the calculation and monitoring of Hourly Rates
Focal point for Internal controls and External Audit requirements
Feed into BP for program, providing all required after market information per program
Driving continued improvement and supporting the financial validation of projects
Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA/MBA preferred
Experience: 10+ years of financial management and accounting experience.
Computer Skill: Microsoft Office and Windows operating system
Other Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; high level of analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent overall organization skills and keen attention to detail

The expected salary range for this position is between $133,230 - $209,360 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
