Summary/Objective
As a Talent Management Specialist, you will drive talent acquisition strategy and early career initiatives for Safran's North America operations. This role focuses on building strong university and technical school partnerships, developing innovative recruitment programs, and enhancing Safran's employer brand in the US market.
You will lead early career talent pipeline development while supporting key talent development initiatives including mentorship programs and talent mobility tracking.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Early Career Programs
• Lead and expand early career programs including university recruitment, internship programs, graduate rotational programs, and new graduate onboarding initiatives
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with universities, technical schools, and educational institutions across North America
• Build and execute comprehensive university relations strategy including campus recruiting events, career fairs, information sessions, and student organization partnerships
• Create and manage technical school partnership programs to build skilled trade and technical talent pipelines
• Design and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract top early career talent in competitive markets
Employer Branding & Communications
• Support Safran's employer branding strategy specifically for the North American market
• Create compelling recruitment marketing materials, presentations, and digital content that showcase Safran's value proposition to early career candidates
• Design impactful visual communications for recruitment events, career fairs, and digital platforms
• Collaborate with communication team to enhance Safran's presence on social media platforms and job boards targeting early career professionals
• Establish Safran as an "employer of choice" within target universities and technical institutions
Talent Development Support
• Support the North America mentorship program including participant matching, program coordination, and success tracking
• Monitor and report on key talent management KPIs including mobility rates, succession planning metrics, and early career retention
• Facilitate talent review processes and provide analytical insights on talent pipeline health
• Coordinate special events, workshops, and development opportunities for new hires, interns, and early career employees

Technical Skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint for presentation design
• Experience with recruitment technologies, applicant tracking systems, and social media platforms
• Analytical skills for tracking recruitment metrics and talent pipeline data
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations affecting university recruiting and early career hiring

Education/Certifications
Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
Preferred: Additional certifications in talent acquisition, recruitment marketing, or project management
Experience
Preferred: 3-5 years of experience in talent acquisition, university relations, campus recruiting, or related HR field. Recent graduates with relevant internship experience in TA/recruiting will also be considered.
