1. Occupational Summary (Position Objective & Authorities)
Objective:
The Communication & Engagement Coordinator supports the development and delivery of internal and external communications and employee engagement initiatives across Safran Seats locations in Gainesville, TX. This role assists with content creation, communication logistics, event coordination, and execution of engagement programs aligned with company values and strategic goals. This role reports directly to the Communication & Engagement Specialist, and works closely with Human Resources Business Partners and each of the respective Safran Seats USA Business Units

3. Qualification Requirements
A. Education & Qualification-
• Bachelor's degree in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field or 6 years of related experience in lieu of a degree required.
B. Work Experience - Technical knowledge-
• Additionally, a minimum 2 years of experience within a professional communications role required.
C. Professional Skills-
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite preferred).
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital tools preferred
• Experience with video production, including scripting, filming and editing content.
• Team-oriented, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision
D. Behavioral Skills-
• Excellent verbal, written communications and negotiating skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, efficiently communicating with and reporting to the stakeholders.
• Excellent time management skills and have a sense of urgency; proven ability to work on multiple projects and programs at any given time.

• Strong attention to detail, pushing the envelope and a can-do attitude.
• Reacting quickly, efficiently and adapting to any working environment with fast-paced project requirements.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
