Job Description

Summary/Objective:
The Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) Customer Service Specialist is responsible for supporting the Safran Nacelles Services Americas business unit through customer-focused activities such as development of commercial proposals (Quotes), management of orders, interface with commercial sales and customer support teams, and building strong relationships with our internal operational MRO team. This role is pivotal in ensuring exceptional satisfaction with our customers and promoting the Safran Nacelles group.

Complementary Description

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Manage customer requests:
o Develop accurate and timely commercial proposals based on customer requirements, operational data, and contracted terms and conditions.
o Monitor business and inform clients of progress.
o Resolve commercial disputes with management support.
o Ensure regular and proactive communication as part of the administrative management of contracts and orders.
o Acknowledge receipt of customer orders.
o Manage orders and proposals in the ERP system.
- Collect internal and external costing information.
- Build a strong relationship with our internal customer support, sales, Operational MRO, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams.
- Function as a liaison with the Safran Nacelles front office team located in Pont-Audemer, France
- Contribute to the achievement of company objectives, especially in terms of commercial proposal Turnaround Time (TAT).
- Continually improve front office operations by streamlining the evaluation and quoting processes.
- Perform other related duties as required to support the organization.

• Knowledge working with an ERP system (Epicor, SAP, or similar)

• Sitting at a desk for prolonged periods of time.

Education/Certifications:
Minimum: High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
Preferred: BA/BS in business management or equivalent

Experience :
- Required: More than 3 years of related experience in aerospace, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO), or manufacturing
- Preferred: More than 5 years of related experience in the aerospace maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) sector

Travel:
Less than 5% with potential for international travel
