The Employee Relations Program Manager will work collaboratively with other People team members to design, implement, and continuously improve a variety of ER programs supporting our vibrant and growing company. You will collaborate with the ER & People team to ensure that processes and programs are scaled for success. You’ll have the opportunity to learn about all aspects of the ER function; as you learn you’ll be able to improve processes and help our organization scale.
You Will:
- Have specific program responsibilities be assigned based on the needs of the company and the capabilities of the ER Program Manager.
- Act as project manager for major ER initiatives, integrating diversity of perspectives into design and delivery approaches
- Provide rigorous data analysis and reporting solutions based on business needs. Produce and deliver periodic reports to inform stakeholders and team members.
- Providing a positive training experience for managers, including managing communications, tracking attendance/compliance, and following up with managers to collect feedback on the experience.
- Help to review, moderate, and facilitate a healthy culture on Slack
- Managing the rollout of new or updated ER policies or programs, including working with the People team and key collaborators (e.g., executives, Legal, Finance) to define the new policy, developing and implementing a communication plan, updating documentation, and creating a feedback mechanism for employees.
- Integrate and partner with colleagues in the Recruiting, People Experience and Learning, Compensation, and Workday teams to implement solutions for a scaling business
- Manage project scope to ensure commitments are achieved while remaining adaptable to changes brought about by evolving business needs
- Measure, monitor, and report on the project performance against defined objectives and outcomes. Set and maintain timelines for project completion and critical milestones to keep processes moving
You Have:
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, creative problem-solving, and influencing skills; demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a broad range of individuals and groups.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle issues of a sensitive nature with tact and discretion
- Ability to move through ambiguity, taking action in order to make progress and learn, and making improvements based on new information.
- Experience with leading programs all the way from idea through implementation, including managing through bumps along the way.
- Excel and Google Sheets master
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in HR, recruiting, education, or other people-focused professions (Bonus).
- Experience in a high-growth organization (Bonus).
For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits as described on this page.
Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
