About the team + role

The Clearing Communication team’s mission is to satisfy regulatory obligations governing operational customer communications and reports including account statements, trade confirmations, escheatment, and mail operations.

As a Clearing Communications Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring accuracy in our account statements and trade confirmations. This includes conducting regular, detailed reviews of customer accounts and reports, collaborating with compliance and engineering teams, and staying up to date on regulatory changes impacting the space.

What you’ll do

  • Function as the subject-matter expert (SME) over account statements and trade confirmations
  • Validate customer account statements and trade confirmations for brokerage, retirement, and UK by completing regular, timely quality reviews of account reports and user account activity
  • Own operations and projects related to customer account statements and trade confirmations from beginning to implementation; flag any identified discrepancies and collaborate with other departments to implement solutions
  • Respond to various external and internal audit requests to provide evidence of following supervisory procedures
  • Work with cross-functional partners such as Compliance and Engineering

  • Demonstrated ability of multitasking and tackling several projects at once
  • Collaborative spirit and strong relationship building and leadership skills across functions
  • Series 7 and (preferably) 24; strong understanding of securities regulation and finance
  • Experience working in Excel/Google Sheets

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
