About the Team:
The Quizlet Growth & Media Team has one goal: Make Quizlet’s social presence best-in-class. We’re a quirky, collaborative, analytical group that is hyper-focused on making the best social content in our class. We don’t shy away from competition. We recruit and retain best-in-class content creators.
About the Role:
You will lead a team of content creators at Quizlet while creating content of your own. We have an extremely talented team of part-time creators ready to learn from you, better understand their content quantitatively and qualitatively, and take your creative direction.
We’re happy to share that this is an onsite position in our San Francisco office. To help foster team collaboration, we require that employees be in the office a minimum of three days per week: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday and as needed by your manager or the company. We believe that this working environment facilitates increased work efficiency, team partnership, and supports growth as an employee and organization.
In this role, you will:
- Lead content strategy (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, et al) for all of Coconote
- Lead our team of part-time creators including group meetings and 1:1's
- Conduct a weekly detailed analysis of our content at the video, account, creator, and aggregated levels
- Recruit, hire, develop, and retain great creator talent
- Work closely with management in growth, media, and content to refine and develop our overarching content strategy
What you bring to the table:
- Deep understanding of viral content and trends
- Ability to analyze and articulate why content goes viral and drives results for a brand
- Proven track record of creating engaging short-form content; you have 10’s or 100’s of millions of views on your content in aggregate
- Exceptional creative storytelling abilities
- Self-driven, growth mindset
- Great communication skills
- Proactive in nature; bias toward action over deliberation
- Strong competitive spirit; you don’t back down when competition is tough
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience managing a team of 5+ people
- Experience managing content creators
- Experience recruiting content creators

Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a starting base salary of $104,875 - $145,000, depending on location and experience, as well as company stock options
