We’re energized by the potential to power more learners through multiple approaches and various tools.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size: 24px">About the Team:&nbsp;</span></div><div><br></div><div>The Ads team is responsible for ensuring Quizlet can provide a free learning platform to users around the world.&nbsp; We do this using Header Bidding, Google Ad Manager, and an increasing number of seamlessly integrated direct ad experiences.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Our current team is made up of talented full-stack engineers, with a culture for AB experimentation. We enjoy moving quickly, but methodically, to help Quizlet’s business grow as fast as possible. We are looking for someone with previous ads experience.</div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size: 24px">About the Role:&nbsp;</span></div><div><br></div><div>You will be involved in defining long term technical strategy while being a core contributor to the code base. The work done by the ads team is fast paced and relies heavily on running &amp; analyzing AB experiments.&nbsp; On an average day we are:</div><div><br></div><div>- Optimizing aspects of overall page performance that impact ads&nbsp;</div><div>- Conducting experiments with new Ads UX, request methods, 3rd party features, or backend improvements</div><div>- Working with Prebid.js, Amazon Publisher Services, and Google Publisher Tag to personalize our ad auctions</div><div>- Exploring new offerings such as video ads</div><div>- Designing the long term strategy of ads at Quizlet</div><div>- Sharing our best practices through technical blog posts, meet-ups, and conferences</div>
