We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented new member of the team. We have a lean and cross-functional team, where you will collaborate with a diverse set of colleagues to identify opportunities to help deliver Quid’s credit products to borrowers, entrepreneurs, and companies globally. What You’ll Do
- Assist with annual financial statement audits and regulatory reporting
- Perform monthly cash and expense reconciliations
- Assist with tax filings including 1099 forms
- Process vendor invoices and reconcile discrepancies
- Assist with ad hoc projects
- Coordinating with funds’ independent auditors, external tax advisors, custodians, prime brokers and fund administrators
- Performing other tasks as required in support of Controller
What You’ll Need
- BA/BS required in Accounting or Finance with strong academic history
- Strong knowledge of reconciliation and account analysis
- Excellent understanding of accounting and the ability to apply relevant investment company accounting rules
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and QuickBooks
- 2+ years of general accounting experience
- Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge and skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- High degree of attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Strong analytical skills
