Overview
As a Paid Search Strategist, you will support and execute high-impact paid search programs with a strong focus on Product Listing Ads (PLAs) and performance. You’ll work closely with senior team members and cross-functional partners to build, optimize, and scale campaigns while developing a strong foundation in feed-based advertising, automation, and performance analysis. This role is ideal for someone early in their paid search career who is eager to learn, test, and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
· Develop Search Strategies: Assist in building and maintaining paid search and PLA programs aligned to performance goals, with a focus on accurate setup, optimization, and scalability.
· Shopping Feed Management: Assist with product feed reviews, troubleshooting, and optimization in collaboration with analytics and feed partners to improve coverage, efficiency, and performance.
· Conduct Research: Conduct keyword research, product‑level analysis, and competitive reviews to identify opportunities across shopping feeds, query intent, and product taxonomy.
· Track Performance: Monitor daily and weekly performance across paid search and PLA campaigns, identify trends, and escalate insights and recommendations to senior team members.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with creative, analytics, and strategy teams to ensure cohesive execution of integrated campaigns.
· Testing & Experimentation: Implement and manage alpha and beta tests for new feature rollouts (e.g., bid strategies, feed enhancements, creative formats), documenting learnings and outcomes for future optimization.
· Knowledge Sharing: Actively participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives by documenting successful campaigns, use cases, and insights from webinars and industry conferences.
· Client Management: Support client relationships by participating in status calls, performance discussions, and day‑to‑day communications. Help translate performance data into clear updates, insights, and next steps, escalating questions and recommendations to senior team members as needed.
· Build Relationships: Cultivate strong relationships with key publisher partners like Google and Bing, advocating for client needs and identifying new advertising opportunities.
· Budget Management: Manage budgets and forecasts to effectively align performance goals and client expectations.
· Reporting and Insights: Prepare and present reports, insights, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders, demonstrating the value of search strategies and identifying future growth areas.
Qualifications
· 1-3+ years of Paid Search experience (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads etc.) is required for this position.
· Experience in driven advertising (e.g., Shopping or PLA campaigns).
· Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics and Google Ads.
· Familiarity with emerging technologies (e.g., automation tools, AI-assisted workflows, or basic scripting) and a willingness to learn how they can improve paid search and PLA performance.
· Solid understanding of SEO principles and how paid search integrates with overall digital marketing strategies.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively articulate strategies to diverse audiences.
· Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
· Passion for industry trends, with a commitment to sharing knowledge and facilitating continuous improvement within the team.

Compensation Range: $60,800 - $80,000.00. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
