ABOUT THE TEAM

The Senior Associate role will report into the Associate Director, Business Operations position and will be a part of the Operations Team. This team works collectively to ensure budget and revenue delivery, with clear communication across various investment teams and partner agencies (i.e. clients), with a focus on automation and system connections.


Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Associate, Business Operations, you will be responsible for supporting the larger Business Operations team, inclusive of both Media Operations and Account Management. This role will serve as a key operational partner for both teams, as well as the broader cross-functional investment teams at APEX. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with data and takes ownership of ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support across multiple teams: Media Operations, Revenue Operations and Account Management
  • Assist in the support of reporting in preparation for client value summaries and client spend reports
  • Maintain Salesforce data integrity and hygiene to ensure accurate data entry
  • Review daily reports to proactively identify and flag errors
  • Support ongoing process improvements to reduce future errors
  • Strong partnership and collaboration across internal teams to meet deadlines

Qualifications

TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS

We value diversity of thought and experiences at APEX! If you learned about media from the sales or agency side, that’s great but we do need people with advanced level of understanding of how media investment works.

  • Responsible for working in a fast-paced environment with a diverse group of individuals, client accounts, vendors/partners and as a liaison between buying, planning, the creative and engineering community.
  • Candidate will work on a variety of projects at one time acting as lead and serving as a supporting player on other team projects.
  • Business financial acumen is preferred
  • Advanced understanding of the media landscape is not required, but beneficial

SOFT SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Technical skills are a point of entry for the roles at APEX but we’re looking for exceptional talent with high emotional intelligence and soft skills that drives our culture.

  • Is credible, courageous and persuasive
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to keep the ball moving during project/product management and execution of content.
  • Sense of confidence, presence, and clarity in communication and presentation styles.
  • Strong sense of urgency with sensitivity to time pressures and multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time while effectively communicating with all necessary parties (connecting the dots).
  • Displays a growth mindset to go beyond their own remit

  • Gives recognition when individuals deliver or take risks
  • Is able to join the dots to develop the bigger picture strategy

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate should have 1-2+ years in Operations, Business Operations, Sales Operations or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
  • Experience working with Salesforce is a plus but not required
  • Proficiency in Excel required
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Compensation Range: $50,065.00 - $73,944.00 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
