Overview
The Executive Vice President, Strategy & Planning drives new thinking and challenges the team and themselves to deliver truly innovative work for our clients. The EVP will be responsible for nurturing our existing clients and re-shaping our product planning around new positioning models and driving aggressive growth via new business acquisition.
Responsibilities
- Direct and nurture the development, presentation and maintenance of communication plans including: insight development, innovation road maps, strategic initiatives, big but relevant ideas, updates, and point-of-views (POVs)
- Create a culture of collaboration, partnering with internal teams and accounts to develop insights and brand extensions through evaluations and recommendations of cross-platform and merchandising concepts
- Bring Innovation and Thought Leadership as both a new business asset and an engine within the agency to drive modern marketing solutions for our clients.
- Ensure that client receives the full value from Spark Foundry’s resources within the parameters of service/compensation agreement as well as access to new partners who can help to drive innovation and ideas
- Provide inspiring leadership and direction to the account team
- Take leading role in client ideation and creativity, partnering with creative, digital and other agencies
- Take leading role in new business activity as required, leading pitch planning teams to craft story lines that help us improve our win ratio
- Ensure a robust training program for team members so that we can evolve our talent and their capabilities
Qualifications
- Curious, Bold, Collaborative, Creative and Approachable
- 20+ years of media experience with extensive planning knowledge
- Superior client service experience with proven ability to provide strategic media plans
- Experience across all media types (national, local, digital, direct, OOH)
- Interest and Passion for technology, culture, and content
- Ability to anticipate quickly and assess continually changing client needs to adapt resources and strategies accordingly
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Ability to translate data into viable business solutions to enhance strategies and meet deliverables
- Excellent leadership ability to drive team to deliver results

Compensation Range: $248,400- $335,300 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
