As Associate Director of Marketing Communications, you'll work alongside our Vice President of Marketing Communications and Executive Leadership Team to shape how Spark Foundry shows up in the world. This role reports to the VP of Marketing Communications.
This is a hybrid role based in New York City requiring three days in office per week, with Monday required in office. If contacted for an interview, our recruiter will discuss specifics with you, including any necessary reasonable accommodations.

You'll be a key player on a small, high-impact team where your work directly shapes how Spark Foundry and Connect at Publicis Media are seen by clients, talent, and the industry. You'll have meaningful exposure to executive leadership and real opportunities to grow your career at one of the world's largest agency networks.
What You'll Do
- Own social media strategy and execution across Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms—partnering with design, executive stakeholders, and the VP to amplify Spark Foundry’s voice
- Lead internal communications that keep our people informed, engaged, and connected to our strategy
- Support Town Halls and agency events with content, logistics, and feedback reporting
- Write and edit client-facing documents including event wrap-ups and custom content
- Develop collateral including credentials, presentations, website content, displays, and more
- Drive company visibility through award submissions, thought leadership, and media opportunities
- Provide hands-on media relations support—pitching stories, building journalist relationships, and securing speaking opportunities
- Partner with Talent and Impact & Equity leads on communications that foster belonging and inclusion
- Manage quarterly measurement and reporting to prove the impact of our work
- Build trust across the business by demonstrating the strategic value of communications
- Leverage Publicis Groupe AI tools to enhance efficiency, ideation, and output quality

Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, marketing, or related field (media agency experience is a plus but not required)
- Proactive self-starter mentality—you see opportunities and act on them
- Solutions-oriented approach with sharp attention to detail
- Agile thinking—you adapt quickly to changing priorities and needs
- Strong relationship-building skills across all levels; highly collaborative yet effective working independently
- Excellent writing skills—you can write compelling short and long-form content that cuts through
- Ability to manage competing priorities and ambiguity in a matrixed organization
- Digital savvy with corporate/B2B media relations or marketing experience
- Ability to translate complex concepts into actionable communications strategy
- Organized, composed, and meticulous about meeting deadlines
- Engaging communicator with infectious enthusiasm for the work

Compensation Range: $97,375- $155,961 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
