Overview

Catapult is seeking a dynamic Account Supervisor to provide client leadership and delivery support for integrated omnicommerce and shopper marketing campaigns and strategies for our high-profile CPG account!

In this role, you will combine your understanding of traditional brand marketing and shopper marketing with your exceptional client management skills to drive success and growth within the account as well as ensure the timely delivery of innovative, on-brand, best-in-class creative and design assets. Working directly with the client as well as in partnership with cross-functional brand, marketing, creative, and operations teams, you will provide day-to-day leadership for the execution of the strategic plan, ensuring creative product meets and exceeds client and agency objectives while maximizing client budgets.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a hybrid role and will require onsite engagement an average of 1-2 days/week at our client’s offices located in Minneapolis. All candidates should be local to the Minneapolis metro and available to work in a hybrid capacity.

ALSO NOTE: This role requires prior experience supporting marketing campaigns for products distributed through Target or the Roundel RMN, either client-side or as an agency partner.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted client partner and advisor in the development and execution of strategic marketing solutions that are comprehensive, innovative, on-brand, within budget, and aligned to client business goals.
  • Meet and communicate regularly with the client to obtain updates on the client’s business, ensure alignment to existing scopes, and identify opportunities for growth and expansion of business within the account.
  • Lead and participate in client meetings to present, defend, and receive/respond to feedback on proposed and in-flight projects.
  • Analyze market trends and monitor brand threats and opportunities, anticipating and advising on potential changes and obstacles impacting the client’s business, our relationship, and cost/time projections.
  • Partner with cross-functional and creative agency teams to share and interpret client business requirements, iterative changes to scopes and deliverables, and develop creative briefs.
  • Manage and oversee the execution and delivery of creative project work from initial concept through final measurement, ensuring alignment to brand guidelines, project briefs, and quality standards while identifying and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Continuously monitor and stay on top of the creative and production delivery processes, anticipating and identifying potential issues and proactively working to avoid them.
  • Work closely with the client to ensure that they are kept up to date on project status, potential blockers, shifts in budgets or timing, and any necessary changes to scope, addressing questions and issues throughout the process and overcoming objections as needed.
  • Collaborate with strategy, media, and creative teams in the development of the agency’s recommendation for advertising mix as well as annual deliverable plans and production budgets.
  • Monitor project scopes, creative briefs, and team resourcing to optimize the use of the team’s time and budget.
  • Gain support and ownership from all key agency and client stakeholders to execute project plans on time and budget while ensuring alignment to client and agency P&L considerations, reviewing shifts in scope for potential budget impact, identifying opportunities for efficiency and cost reductions, and monitoring key financial measures.
  • Stay on top of business and profitability needs for the agency while creating efficiencies, maximizing revenue and margin, and driving business impact for the organization.
  • Identify opportunities to grow and expand business within the account as well as ways to incorporate other teams within the agency and other agencies across Publicis Groupe in support of existing project workstreams and potential new business channels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, or related field required; equivalent experience may be substituted.
  • 5+ years of prior advertising agency experience managing large, complex accounts and client relationships.
  • Prior experience supporting creative digital-first shopper, and retail marketing campaigns for brands within Target and Target Roundel is REQUIRED.
  • Prior experience supporting home care, health & beauty, or similar CPG brands strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience managing the delivery of creative campaign execution and associated deliverables including reviewing deliverables for alignment to brand standards.
  • Experience working within a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team on shopper-focused campaigns.
  • Experience partnering directly with clients to confidently present work, articulate rationale for approach in the context of both business and user needs, and workshop and brainstorm iterative changes to ongoing projects.
  • Ability to identify, synthesize, respond to, and resolve issues and conflicts as they arise.
  • Sound decision-making ability rooted in agency, client, and industry knowledge.
  • Comfort operating with a high level of ownership, autonomy, and accountability.
  • An outstanding listener with clear and persuasive verbal and written communication skills and a high degree of emotional intelligence.
  • A natural sense of urgency with an ability to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately within tight deadlines and constantly-evolving project parameters, scope, and goals.
  • Flexible and adaptable with an ability to manage and drive success across multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities.
  • Highly collaborative but independently capable.
  • Strong business acumen with a constant eye toward growth.
  • Prior experience managing direct reports.

Compensation Range: $73,910-$106,26 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
