Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Define comprehensive scenarios and variations in data to perform robust manual and automated testing.
- Schedule and execute functional testing across multiple email clients.
- Submit errors and issues to development for correction and retest once resolved.
- Report test results and status accurately and timely.
- Track defects and perform causal analysis to closure.
- Review and certify test results of other analysts and testers.
- Create and/or review requirements, design, and scope documents.
- Help set standards for test design and advocate established testing procedures.
- Interact with Relationship Manager, Campaign Operation and Development teams to refine test requirements.
- Coordinate and/or perform testing projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Serve as liaison between technical and non-technical teams to ensure all targets and requirements are met.
- Maintain test libraries, databases, and environments.
- Assist with documentation updates and corrections.
- Support automated scripts from team members where applicable.
- Mentor less experienced QC team members.
Future-Forward Responsibilities (AI & Automation Trends)
- Explore and implement AI-powered QC tools for automated rendering validation and predictive error detection.
- Integrate machine learning for anomaly detection and proactive issue resolution.
- Drive adoption of automated regression testing and intelligent test case generation.
- Investigate generative AI for dynamic content testing and personalization validation.
- Stay ahead of trends in marketing automation, including AI-driven segmentation and adaptive testing strategies.
Qualifications
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of manual QC processes and automated QC systems.
- Knowledge of software development and testing lifecycles.
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and emerging AI technologies.
- Ability to adapt testing strategies to evolving environments and intelligent systems.
- Business domain knowledge with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in similar quality control, proofing, technical, or related business roles.
- Proficiency in email marketing and responsive design optimization.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Passion for staying current with AI, automation, and marketing technology trends.
- Project management experience preferred.

Compensation Range: $73,150 - $107,744 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
