Responsibilities
We are looking for a Senior React Developer with strong fundamentals in modern React, state management, and testing. This role requires hands-on experience building React applications from scratch, explaining implementation decisions clearly, and solving problems in real time. Candidates should be comfortable articulating both what they are building and why.
Your Impact:
- Develop and maintain React applications using modern React features and best practices
- Configure and work with Webpack for bundling, optimization, and environment setup
- Implement Redux for global state management, including actions, reducers, and store configuration
- Design and implement authentication flows from scratch (token handling, protected routes, session management)
- Build reusable components, custom hooks, and shared utilities
- Write and maintain unit tests and contribute to automated test suites
- Participate in code reviews and explain implementation choices clearly
- Debug and refactor existing React code to improve correctness, performance, and readability
Qualifications
Your Skills and Experience:
React & JavaScript
- Strong understanding of React fundamentals and internals
- Knowledge of latest React features (React 19), including concurrent concepts
- Hands-on experience with hooks such as:
- useState, useEffect, useMemo, useCallback
- useTransition
- Context API
- Ability to identify and fix common React issues (incorrect JSX returns, component rendering mistakes, lazy loading pitfalls)
State Management
- Practical experience with Redux
- Creating reducers, actions, and dispatch flows
- Connecting Redux state to React components
- Updating application state through Redux in real use cases (e.g., counters, forms)
Build & Tooling
- Experience with Webpack
- Configuration basics
- Loaders, plugins, and build optimization concepts
Testing
- Experience implementing unit tests for React components
- Familiarity with testing tools such as:
- Jest
- React Testing Library (or equivalent)
- Exposure to test automation frameworks and CI-friendly testing practices
Performance & Code Quality
- Experience using lazy loading (React.lazy) and understanding required supporting patterns (e.g., Suspense)
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and performant code
- Strong debugging skills and understanding of JavaScript/React execution flow
Practical Expectations (Technical Interview-Level)
Candidates should be able to:
- Analyze broken React code and explain what is wrong and how to fix it
- Identify missing pieces in lazy loading and async rendering setups
- Write a React Context implementation from scratch
- Build a Redux-powered component without scaffolding tools
- Create a custom data-fetching hook using useEffect, useMemo, and useCallback
- Code in a plain editor while explaining reasoning step by step
