Overview

The VP of Global Operations develop solutions and enable adoption across teams/markets.

This role requires a network coordinator to facilitate processes (once established) and ensure adherence.


Responsibilities

Operations Management

  • Identify needs, provide solutions, and build relationships across markets/agencies
    • Foundational needs include communication structure, RACIs, etc.
  • Develop governance process to drive alignment across markets/teams
  • Project management leadership
    • Management and oversight of identified client/internal projects (e.g. QBR preparation)
    • Coordination and delegation of project deliverables
    • Review/implementation/selection of any project management tools
    • Coordination and prioritization across agency leadership
  • Client Strategy in partnership with GCL
    • Client Satisfaction: Health checks, includes implementing regular client feedback cadence and regularly check in to ensure expectations are being met or exceeded
    • Client Strategy: Lead internal business planning process for the client, identifying opportunities to deploy new solutions, optimizing global/local structure and relationships
  • Identify, review and validate participation of conferences and industry events
    • Coordination and alignment of vendors and partners for summits, conferences, events
  • Identify appropriate industry awards, PR and recognition opportunities and lead coordination of participation and submission process

Billing

  • Oversight of centralized Global billing process across local markets and multiple client divisions
  • Establish key operational processes and ensure documentation/adherence
  • Drive compliance across Global team and local markets to ensure client invoicing and reconciliation deadlines are achieved

Financial Stewardship

  • Oversight of global budget and stewardship of P&L with GCL & main market leads
    • Travel and entertainment budget oversight and management
    • Oversee key internal audit controls to ensure budget management and client authorization compliance
  • Oversight of staffing and headcount alongside market leads
    • Work with markets to determine needs, resource allocation or re-allocation, replacements and validate/approve the need for additions to staff
  • Alignment with Media leads on partner joint business plans (includes deal terms/investment commits)
  • Determine mechanisms and tracking for SOW requests and proactively initiate scope discussions/proposals
  • Contract/SOW ownership, co-leading with GCL

Team Relationships

  • Management and leadership of operations staff
  • Provide a stimulating environment that provides career development and growth opportunities for operations team members

Qualifications

  • 12–18 years in operations, global account management, transformation, or business systems.
  • Proven success leading multi‑market operational programs.
  • Strong problem‑solver with ability to understand complex systems and design scalable solutions.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management across senior levels and diverse markets.
  • Experience with global tools/workflows (e.g., MediaTools, Data Manager, Growth OS, Smartsheets).
  • High comfort with data governance, KPI frameworks, and process automation.
  • Senior resource must have strong functional understanding of contemporary marketing analytics, advertising technology and research techniques, as well as an innovative vision on how the practice should evolve to keep pace with the ever changing marketing environment
  • Strong client management/consultative experience both presenting and resolving issues.
  • Extensive experience leading and managing marketing technology projects from ideation through installation
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills – demonstrated ability to mine data for relevant and actionable insights
  • Solid written and verbal communication skill with ability to communicate/translate complex concepts to non-technical audience
  • Strong understanding and experience with digital media buying, KPI development and technology practices during campaign planning and execution
  • Demonstrated experience with programmatic audience buying concepts and execution
  • Must have demonstrable quantitative skills and the ability to roll up sleeves and dig into the numbers when necessary
  • Must have powerful leadership qualities, as will be required to lead external and internal resources into new marketing effectiveness territories
  • Candidate must have a strong attention to detail, and be able to quality check their teams’ work to ensure that data anomalies/mistakes are caught prior to delivery of the analysis to the client teams
  • Candidate must have strong management capabilities, both operationally (as well as strategically) to ensure that guidance is given to all teams on how to enhance the product as the account matures)
  • Candidate must be outgoing and able to integrate with a fast-paced Planning and Activation teams
  • Must be able to cultivate excellent relationships with technology and research partners
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Hands on, problem solving abilities – “can do” approach (someone who is a thinker and a doer)

Compensation Range: $149,340-239,148 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
