Overview
Razorfish is looking for a hands-on, social media project manager to oversee a team crafting social media
content solutions for a high-profile client. This is endeavor breaks traditional agency norms for how an
agency can and should work with clients. You will be immersed in the client’s day-to-day with a bespoke
agency team crafted to support the owned organic social handles for a multi-brand client. You can expect
to work alongside a diverse team of creators utilizing a vast library of proprietary assets to create
engaging, thumb-stopping, buzz-generating social content. Role will involve high-volume content
execution working directly with client and agency teams to elevate the social media experience of our
client while also increasing followers across multiple high-visibility branded accounts.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be working with one of the largest entertainment brands in the world – specifically
joining a team that manages organic social marketing for the brand and all its shows. You will work on-
site, embedded within an integrated 30+ person team comprised of a mix of client in-house and
Razorfish team members across four departments: Editorial, Publishing, Audience Development and
Innovation – all working together to deliver culturally relevant content at scale and engage and growing
audience of millions.
As a Razorfish Program Manager, you will lead multi-workstream social and content programs
from strategy through execution and optimization. You’ll partner closely with creative, social strategy,
production, and clients to keep teams aligned, unblock risks, and keep programs moving at the speed of
culture. You’ll work directly with our client leading special projects, define and implement operational
processes / workflow and ensuring seamless coordination and operational excellence across our team.
You will bring a calm, confident leadership style to highly dynamic environments — balancing creative
ambition, platform realities, and operational rigor while proactively managing risk, scope, timelines, and
budget.
Program & Delivery Leadership
- Lead end-to-end delivery of social-first and digital content programs, including always-on content, campaign bursts, tentpole moments, and creator-led activations
- Manage multi-track workstreams across creative, production, paid media, social strategy, community management, and analytics
- Own program timelines, dependencies, and integrated delivery plans across platforms and content types
- Organize and lead regular cross-team meetings to ensure strategic alignment and goal tracking
- Develop operational strategies to enhance inter-team collaboration and streamline workflows
- Oversee and manage special projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and successful delivery
- Standardize workflows and procedures across all pillars to ensure consistency and quality in content creation and strategy
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team
Creative, Social & Production Orchestration
- Plan, organize, and coordinate work across Creative, Social Strategy, Production, and Analytics teams
- Run kickoffs, milestone reviews, and go-live readiness for social content programs
- Ensure creative concepts, production plans, and platform requirements stay aligned through execution
Risk, Scope & Financial Management
- Proactively identify and mitigate delivery, platform, resourcing, and creative risks
- Own scope, change control, and prioritization across fast-moving content pipelines
- Understand and manage the financial impact of staffing, production shifts, and platform changes
Stakeholder Leadership
- Act as a trusted operational partner to client teams, clearly communicating:
- What is launching
- When it is launching
- Where it will live
- How it is being optimized
- Ensure decisions, risks, and next steps are documented, aligned, and executed
Team Leadership
- Motivate and support cross-disciplinary teams in high-velocity social environments
- Help resolve conflict, manage trade-offs, and support real-time replanning when priorities shift
Qualifications
Experience & Domain Knowledge
- 3+ years of Program or Project Management in a digital, social, or creative agency
- Experience and passions for television, movies and entertainment (streaming experience a plus!)
- Proven experience delivering social-first content programs, including:
- Always-on publishing
- Campaigns & tentpoles
- Paid + organic content
- Creator or influencer programs
- Knowledge of digital media, social marketing, and social content creation processes in order to ensure the best operational processes and tools can be implemented
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Social & Platform Fluency
- Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms
- Experience working with:
- Social strategy
- Creative & content production

- Community & engagement teams
- Analytics & performance reporting
Planning & Delivery Expertise

Compensation Range: $34.80 - $52.63 per hour. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
