Overview
As an Account Manager, Social and Community Management your job is to partner with clients to relentlessly pursue innovative creative thinking, with a focus on identifying and leveraging new trends, executing programs, and developing client relationships. An essential ingredient of your success is the ability to partner and collaborate with a number of internal and external stakeholders.
This role requires very strong creative, critical thinking and organizational abilities. A creative and analytical thinker who can help execute cross-channel digital media strategies for our clients.
Please note this is a contract ending in January 2027.
Responsibilities
- Develop and support social media and community management deliverables to meet client objectives, while acting as project lead under senior leaders on campaigns
- Day to day client communications and project management, building trusted relationships and driving impact across programs
- Assist in building strategic influencer programs including partner selection, vetting, outreach, negotiation and contracts, creative briefing/reviews/edits, paid media integration and analytics/reporting.
- Help build social advertising strategies to support client campaigns; able to place and track ads across social media platforms (e.g., Meta, X, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Netbase or similar for insights)
- Put strong social writing skills and attention to detail to work in to writing effective and thumb-stopping social content.
- Run community management with junior team members for large brands, recognizing opportunities and reputational risk alike.
- Partner with PR and corporate communications leads for proactive issues management and monitoring via community management.
- Get hands on with social creative development, working with production partners during client campaign planning and execution (i.e. manage creative specs and assets, work collaboratively with project manager, clients and partners on detailed work back schedules, prepare and manage promotion plans etc.)
- Work alongside large internal and external agency partner teams to manage trafficking, content deployment and effective program measurement and reporting
- Participate in forecasting budgets and invoicing for a client accounts
Qualifications

Who you are:
- 4+ years of experience in a social media or digital agency or SEM environment
- Good at multi-tasking, managing multiple partners, and project management
- Bachelor’s and/or post-graduate degree in Communications, Advertising, Media Studies or a related field
- Experience with social media including community management for brands is a must
- Experience with influencer advertising and/or PR is an asset(executional experience)
- Strong proficiency in social platforms and related measurement frameworks (Meta, X, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, reddit, Pinterest, Twitch, WhatsApp and Snapchat, etc.)
- Proficiency in social management and listening platforms (i.e., Sprout, Hootsuite, Traacker, Pulsar, Brand Watch)
- Positive team player and campaign collaborator, able to work well with internal teams, external agency partners and vendors
- Shows strong initiative as an entrepreneurial thinker taking independent actions
- Superior time management and organizational abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled at analyzing data, deriving insights and building creative output to meet client objectives

Salary
Transparency matters to us. The salary range for this position is CAD$68K-$72K per year. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and applicable certifications. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer based on current market data.
