Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Account Supervisor – Social to join our agency team on a 7-month contract, supporting a financial services client. This role is ideal for a social-first account leader who understands how to build always-on social programs within regulated environments.
You’ll be responsible for leading day-to-day social efforts—from planning and content development through publishing and performance analysis—while serving as a trusted client partner and internal team lead.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary day-to-day client contact for organic and paid social initiatives
- Lead always-on and campaign-based social programs across key platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Facebook)
- Partner with strategy and creative teams to develop compelling, platform-native content aligned to brand and business goals
- Manage timelines, scopes, and deliverables to ensure seamless execution
- Navigate financial services legal and compliance review processes with precision and efficiency
- Review and approve social copy, creative, and content calendars for quality, accuracy, and brand/regulatory compliance
- Coordinate with community management teams to ensure consistent tone, messaging, and escalation protocols
- Support monthly and quarterly reporting, helping translate organic performance into clear insights and recommendations
- Proactively identify content opportunities, trends, and optimizations within the social landscape
Qualifications
- 5–7+ years of experience in a social first agency or similar environment, with a strong focus on organic social media and exposure to paid social.
- Deep understanding of organic social platforms, content best practices, and community dynamics
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders in a fast-paced agency setting
- Strong communication, organizational, and client-management skills
- High attention to detail, especially related to compliance, approvals, and accuracy
- Experience collaborating closely with creative teams and providing constructive feedback
